June 2012 Applications

Hi everyone,

I have followed this thread for a long time now and thought I'd join in! It's been really cool to see June applicants finally starting to get medical requests. Fingers crossed for all of us.

CIC received my application on June 28, 2012 and I got an AOR on July 31. My visa processing office is CPP-Ottawa, although I (mistakenly) requested a different one in my application. I received my GC-MS notes recently, and it doesn't look like my application has been looked at very much. The CIC website still says "Application received".

Can anyone tell me how to update my details in my profile?

Some people who got their AOR close to our dates have recently received their Medicals. So it's not too far. Just hang in there buddy, we will get soon. Pls update here once u get ur Medicals, I will do the same

Can I ask a question? We started filing an application last May 2011. We are in a 22 months bracket live in caregiver program. I am the principal applicant here, my mom is the caregiver. She will get us going to Canada. However, the immigration started to process our application August 28,2012.


The last time we submitted the documents they required was December 27,2011. After a year, November 29,2012 to be exact, we received a notice through my email that they already required to have a consent signed by my father since my parents are already divorced and an additional family info for me.

We sent the documents they needed last January 3, 2013. When are we going to have a medical referral/letter? 22months is coming and yet we haven't still receiving any notice from them.

Replied. This wait is little frustrating
Last year when i followed the forum it was only 6 to 8 months for the whole process. now it is already 8 months for us and still no medicals. really not sure why it is taking soooo long to process

Thanks mnjdev. Yeah couple of my friends who applied in June 2011 got their PR's in 6-8 months. The wait keeps killing you End May applicants are now getting MR's. Hopefully, we may get ours within the next 1-2 weeks.

I have a doubt, last time when i sent my application i sent my T4 for 2010 which had very less salary mentioned it as my most of the salary was in mode of Per Deims which were non taxable.

Can somebody explain will the salary slips only with per diems mentioned in it as extra allowance suffice the case officer doubts regarding the minimum salary with respect to full time employment.

I was having same problem last week(I mean entire week!)but I do see my status since yesterday. No changes
