My CC got charged today on July 7th. (I filed on June 14th).

But I am surprised that my Credit Card statement says -- ""IMMIGRATION CANADA FSW SYDNEY NS"" - even though I applied in CEC category. is it the standard charge line for their payment system? Please help. Thanks.

I am also a June Applicant.My application received there on June 15,2012.However i didnt submitted my PCC.So,when do you think is the right time to send them.I am in India since last year and applied under Cec from India itself.So,from previous reply i guess i need to submit PCC only from India right?Thanks

Yes, only from India. I assume you didn't stay in any other country for 6 consecutive months. You can send it now with all your details - client id, first name, last name, DOB, passport number, date applied

Or you could also wait till you get AOR. It really is your choice. I would say send it now

Cheapest would be use Skype to Skype - it's free.

Otherwise I grab cheap phone cards from ontariophonecards.ca when calling back home to landlines.

yes i use skype too but phone call also is very necessary sometimes not every one have Skype back home...thank you i will consider that.

I haven't visited any other country since i came back and i just asked today but till July 5,2012 my dd havent been cashed but i think it will b cashed soon.So,i think its better if i wait until Visa Officer asked me to submit one.and btw Do u know how long does it take to get PCC from India?

I don't understand y u have to wait till November for open WP?

Skype is good only if other person has Skype and u are chatting through it, otherwise for phone it is too expensive. I would recommend to try dial91.com - same concept as calling card much cheaper and also u get more talktime, for 10$ u get around 730 minutes, I have been using it for more than 10 months since I stopped using mobilicity and its pretty good.

Remember, not since u went back to India. U should Provide PCC from all the countries that u have stayed consecutive 6 months since your 18th birthday.

One of my friend got it from Mumbai, he told he got it on same day, I didn't ask for much details - u don't have to wait till CIC does document request, u can send it once u receive the file number

Thanks a lot for your reply!Actually i forgot to mentioned b4 that the only country i visited since 18 yrs is Canada itself.So i guess only PCC from India would work? and about submission of PCC my lawyer is saying that we'll send it when they'll ask us because its mentioned in the checklist.Any comments on this?Thanks a lot in advance...

Yes, only from India, it should be fine, u can send once CIC requests for it. This should not be an issue

Just go to your bank with a receipt of the draft in about 2.5 weeks of your application reaching Sydney. They will confirm the status! Of course you can check earlier but 2.5 weeks seems a reasonable time based on current trend.
