As everyone, I am also waiting for medical request.

I have one question. I am planning to go for a spinal surgery sooner. Will this affect my medical test results for PR by any means? Or shall I go for surgery after my medical test?

Hi June applicants,

I have a quick question regarding the 2 years fulltime education requirement, i saw one applicants have been rejected because of this issue EVEN THOUGH he obtained his Bachelor Degree. I am super worry about my application, because i was enrolled fulltime in a timespan of 2 years and 4 months, not exactly 2 years of fulltime education or equivalent.

The reason for me is because i was on probation at that time, therefore the school asked me to take lesser courses. Should i send a letter explaining the situation or should i just leave it like that. I did obtained my Bachelor though BUT the rejection from that applicant really scares me.

Please advise, and how's everybody doing so far?

uing

I would say get your medical done before your surgery once. In case you will have to be under medication during the healing process. If you are a June applicant, medical request should be coming in a month or two.

Hello All June friends,

I am afraid I will be rejected similar to Nick's case: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/application-rejection-on-technicality-help-t124203.0.html

I graduated in 2011. My exams and classes were done before May 2011. I started working in middle of May and received my degree on June 4, 2011. My application was prepared (including employment letter) in late May 2012 and file on June 4, 2012.

All I am saying is if I get rejected because I filed my application a few days earlier than needed, that would be really BS...

Hope this will not happen.

processing time is not same for all.....mediacl may get 2 months or more....
If he need to take medicines then also there is no prob in medical exam .....as he can mention in form the name of medicines he is taking as my spouse did.....so there is no prob for surgery but if he has not have any emergency like too much pain etc then he can wait also.....upto him now....but i am sure surgery is not gonna be a prob for medical exam...Thanks

If you read through some of the posts on that thread, others members also did the same thing. They sent CIC an updated reference letter with new dates and a cover letter explaining their situations and CIC updated their information. It's never too late to send CIC new information, it's only too late if they actually send you a rejection email. Good Luck!

Thanks Johnny for the heads up. When I read that post it kinda got into my nerves. I just talked to my boss and requested an updated employment letter. I will express it on Monday. Thank you very much.

that's because you got your AOR after 1 month from applying and not 3. You'll get it in around 6 to 7 months from applying not from AOR.

Friends,

When should one inform CIC of a child's birth ? Immediately the very next day of birth or after about a weeks time. Pls advise.

You have to get a birth certificate, long form (careful, there is also the short form you need long). Then send it via courier with your file number and a letter explaining that the baby was born in Canada, etc...

If you actually send them an email, send them your file number and tell them you have a newborn and they will ask you for the same information i am providing here (it will take them a few days to respond though, so start working on that long form birth certificate).
