hmmm...I dont know whats taking them so long....its been more than 4 months now... a May 28th applicant got AOR on oct 9th...and there are still some may applicants waiting.....CPP-O has not replied to my email which i sent to them almost 15 days back...not sure whats going on...

anyone else tried to contact CPP-O??

I haven't tried yet, but if I don't hear anything by the end of next week I am going to email them. They received my application on June 5. Not a peep since then.

Guys,
sending multiple emails will only get things worse as I am pretty sure CIC is over loaded.
the forum is live and everybody is waiting and watching.
As soon as someone gets his AOR, I am sure he will be kind enough to update us here ( I will do it once I get mine)
Be patient guys it will somehow finally come; and to cheer you guys up to make the wait painless, I saw case where the AOR came with the medical request.
BTW: April guys are starting to get MR so my understanding is that MR comes after 6 months at least.

Lol, I know a lot of the late May and early June applicants are doing their best to be patient. You cannot however help getting your mind to sometimes wonder why it takes so long to get a singular communication of AOR when your application fee was deducted some months ago! Having a file number certainly gives a sense of progress. Nevertheless, it will eventually work out for all of us - we are strongly positive.

sorry i was very frustrated yesterday sorry to be more specific is that after four month they return my entire application,i paid 640 which means 150 for open work permit and 490 for PR i didn't know that i need to pay700.so they told me fees is not completed my credit curd charged me since june,my OWP I GOT THE 13TH SEPTEMBER,,,,THE AOR I GOT THE 2ND OCTOBER YESTERDAY I GOT MY ENTIRE DOC THEY NEED MORE DETAIL WHICH IS NOT SO COMPLICATED.THE PROBLEM MY PROCESS WILL DELAY

are u applying for cec or other category??? didn't know they issue OWP????

This is so frustrating mwano. Why take 4 months to return your application!!! But you have an AOR and you seem to have got an OWP so I don't understand. Do you just have to pay the difference now or is it more than that?

Also under the canadian experience class could I have applied for an open work permit with my PR application????!!! ??? Even if I didn't have an LMO?
AND if I initially had a post graduate work permit for 3 years that expired around the time I applied for PR?

Mannn I need to workkkkk again. How do I work while I wait for my PR!

So June applicants - all of you guys, say we get our AOR hopefully this month, how long do you think it'll take for us to actually get the PR? Also once u have the PR can you work right away? is there any step involved after you exit n re enter? I'm guessing you just apply for your new SIN and you're good to go?
