Guys,

I have mentioned my Visa office as New Delhi in my application.

But, when I contacted CIC last week, through email about my application status they have replied back saying my application has been moved to Ottawa from Sydney.

Does any one know why the application package has been moved to Ottawa instead of New Delhi? Or would it be sent to New Delhi from Ottawa again? If it is so, it would be further delayed because it involves one more additional step of moving the file to Ottawa instead of directly sending to New Delhi from Sydney.

Anyone can throw light on on this?

I am still waiting. I have not heard anything. My credit card was charged on Jun 27.

Did anyone get any letter or acknowledgement letter yet who have applied in June?

My visa office is also New Delhi.I think they mistakely :-X wrote Ottawa in your case.You can try sending them another email to confirm.

I applied on June 4th, credit card charged on june 19th. Haven't heard anything yet. Some people who applied end of june got their AOR. Check the list in the previous pages.

I got your msg but I cant reply your msg back (it says I am not allowed to send personal messages ).
anyway here is my response,

I did not sent RCMP check along with my application. I just sent police clearance that I got from police statation without fingerprints along with my application.

I will get back to you about medical exam once I get it done

Good luck with your medicals and do post when you get it done. I think you need a minimum number of posts until you can send a personal msg. Not sure how many exactly.

I suppose everyone is quiet coz nobody has heard anything? Atleast I haven't. According to the responses for may applicants I'm expecting to hear something mid septmeber.

Shouldn't really count on that thought coz who knows whether an Immigration officer got lazy one day or got sick. :-X

It's really a game of waiting and keeping positive now! Sharing updates certainly goes a long way to make the waiting easier. I expected AOR by mid August but will now be very happy to have a positive AOR by late September.

I am following the may thread, and I see at least 2 applicants get AOR/day. in their table they are 9 more to go on this forum, at this moment, So I will say early june applicants will get theirs more or less the week starting the 17th sept.

I have a feeling September is going to be a verrrrry long month now that so many of us our counting our days.

I just found out about GCMS notes. I don't know a whole lot about it yet, but has anyone got these? Is it useful at our stage of the application to get them? ???
