Congrats! I think they sometimes just send out standard letters without considering the details. But better provide it again just in case.

They asked me for it again as well even though I had sent it earlier. I just sent it again to avoid any extra steps. Luckily its a simple thing to send :)

I just got my PPR today! I immediately sent it so that it reaches by tomorrow. :)

I have to say though that Immigration seems pretty inconsistent with keeping/receiving records! They asked me for my biodata again. I already sent it to them earlier but sent it anyway to avoid any delays/hassle. This also happened before when they asked me for a police clearance twice when I already sent it the first time.

You'd thing something like this would be more organized but I suppose not.

Anyway I hope everyone gets their PPR soon and is closer to the end of this process!! ;D

when did you have your 1st letter of confirmation? my mom is still waiting for her 2nd letter so that she will sign and embassy will already give our passport w/ visa. btw she received the 1st letter last May 9. how many days would it take to receive the 2nd one? thanks!

my status has changed "decision made" butI have not gotten any letter or email yet.

is this normal ? :o

thanks!

Yes, its normal...happens...check my timelines in my signature...I also had Decision made on Ecas before passport request. You should get PPR soon.

Hello Yosemite,

Congrats on the "Decision Made" & PPR. Have you sent your passport to CPP-O yet? I got my PPR last Friday and I'm going to send it first thing the coming Tuesday.

Quick question: do you know if it is okay to send the passport to CPP-O's courier address (i.e. 365 Laurier Avenue West) even if it is being sent by Canada Post (Xpresspost or Priority with the the "Signature Required" option)? Or should anything being sent by Canada Post be addressed to the PO Box (9780)?

I was thinking about sending a next-day Priority Canada Post mail with the "Signature Required" option to 365 Laurier Avenue West; cause I figured one should not really ask for signature if sending to the PO Box. Any insights?
