Usually one gets decision within 30 to 45 days on average after a medical update. It's possible.
Hi, could some one share your views on the following. Do Non-sds applicants receive medical request immediately after giving bio-metrics. I inferred this from few replies with files submitted on October, November.
I have submitted my file in December with bio-metric on mid-Jan but still I haven't get the medical request.
Please guide.

Med request can be received anytime but it does not mean it's going to be approved. I saw one case where they requested medicals and in turn sent a refusal after few days after medical being passed.

Did they take longer time to reject?

Few days after medical passed. Additional document request doesn't always mean its going to be approved.
Hello Ironclad, when called ircc, agent said Criminality is passed, eligibility under review. What does that mean? I have submitted my complete file in November for Jan intake, but I have not received AIP. My medicals and Biometrics updated in gc key already. More than 2 weeks for my medical update . What do you think about my case?

Medical update gap is favourable only towards two stage processing. For normal processing its harder to guess. However, Ottawa was releasing bulk refusals recently since a few days ago. So looks good based on the trend as almost 3 months as passed.

Were those refusals fast or slow? How many months did they take?

Even if it's hard to guess, what do you think in my case?
