Hello everyone. My last update was on March 17 for my citizenship test. Based on what I am seeing, it looks like there’s some delay and I should have received oath invite by now. Is that accurate or is this delay normal? I applied online on July 14, 2021.

Also I have a question. Is there anyone here who is an avid traveller and has gone through the process? I want to know what the process was for you and if you experienced any delays. I travel around 10 times a year for leisure and wondering if this could be a reason for my application delay. Any advice, reply or insight welcome. Thank you.

I was an avid traveller before and after PR (over 16 countries). Before citizenship application, I had over 10 visits as well but all to the US.

According to the excel sheet, only 21% of the members from July have an oath date. So, your delays are normal, and you and I are part of the majority at this point unfortunately.

On the bright side though, it's great to see so much activity for the fortunate July members. Hopefully our time is coming soon.

Look at my timeline, I received test update on 31st January and the next update was 31st May, At the end the time is almost similar. There are few people who got test update in March-April and had oath scheduled before me. So don't worry, average time taken is almost similar.

Thank you for your reply. I wanted to know if you experienced any delays at all or the processing was as normal.

Hello All,

I finally received my test invite on June 23 via email letter. Test dates from 27-June to 17-July.
I have a question, I am currently outside Canada and there is an option in the Test invite letter to inform IRCC that you want to take the test "Outside Canada".
Does anyone on the group here has given Citizenship test outside of Canada? IF yes, do they allow to keep same dates or give new dates for the same?

Any inputs are appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. My Citizenship file was submitted 5-July-2021, AOR: 29-Sep-2021, BGV: 24-Jan
