Guys, Once the oath is completed, how long does it take to get the Citizenship certificate? It looks like we can apply "Urgent processing for Passport" in person as long as we can provide the travel confirmation.

Until now no update for me. My timeline below.
All my travel docs are expired.
My passport
PR card.
Will be isolated in Canada for life.

Update to above timeline update:
Oct 20, 2021: Online test invite and instructions received via email for a test date between Oct 25 - Nov 14, 2021.
Slight discrepancy, the TEST END date in email/invite letter is Nov 14 but in the online dashboard it says Nov 15. Studying now ;-)

Update to my timeline:
Nov 3, 2021: Received 'Notice to Appear for Interview via MS Teams' via email (yes, I received this notice even before I did the online test).
Nov 6, 2021: Online Citizenship test completed (passed with 19 of 20).
Nov 25, 2021: Scheduled 'INTERVIEW WITH A CITIZENSHIP OFFICIAL AND VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS'

Is booked non refundable plane tickets reason for urgent processing? Any suggestions please? I am traveling after 2.5 years to meet my parents after all this wait I am worried now if the oath invite comes between now and December 15th possibly jeopardizing the trip. Any suggestions please?

Ah I see, I put in an urgent request twice but didn't hear anything back. Even if It wasn't accepted, I am still wondering why I haven't heard anything after DM. It about to be three months, so I was thinking to wait a few weeks (if I'm still in the same predicament) to email them and ask for an update.

I got a DM on Nov 2 Ottawa, and am waiting for the oath ceremony to start. I would like like to travel to Ireland before Christmas but am concerned about what would happen if my Oath is shortly before travelling around early December and issues with travelling before I have a Canadian passport in my hand. There are medical reasons with a sick parent but irrespective of any kind of urgent processing request, I was wondering what happens if I do travel using my Irish passport (Ireland allows dual citizenship) to leave and coming back on an Irish passport and reentering Canada. I was thinking to travel early December and return late February. I am able to work remote. I was thinking to apply for a Canadian passport using the Canadian embassy in Ireland but am concerned about all the guarantors and references if I try and do that as I don't know any citizens of Canada in Ireland who can complete those elements of the passport application as I assume that's what I need to do when applying for a first time Canadian passport. So if that's not possible I'm not sure what happens. As I understand it, part of my oath ceremony is to relinquish my residency card hence my concern after reading some posts in this thread. we are 4 family based applicants(2 adults and 2 children under 18). Both my spouse and mine DM was done on June 29th, 2021. However, both of our children's Prohibition updated only today, 8th November as "completed". Any thoughts on when we should get the oath invitation ?

Please let me know if any of our friends underwent this situation.

Updates to my timeline:

Citizenship test invitation: 14OCT2021
Citizenship test successfully completed 07NOV2021 (virtual)

Language, Physical, and Prohibitions are still In Progress.

I didn't receive an email with the invitation to take the test so it was pure luck that my husband asked me what stage my application was at and I went in to check. Imagine my surprise last week at finding an invitation to take the test and with a last deadline of 09NOV2021.

2 candidates 1 completed the test on 25th october (test updated to complete in system October 26th ) other one on Nov 1st (test updated to complete in system Nov 2nd )... both our applications Language, Physical & Prohibitions : completed on 4th November
