For processing time by CIC, refer to the following link:

Select: "Permanent resident card" in the drop-down menu under "what are you applying for"
and select "No, I am waiting for my first card" under "Did you submit a PR card application or solemn declaration?"
I observed 2 to 6 months from the following tracker:

Yes you got that because you have selected a wrong case for your situation!.. you are economic immigration- permanent residence class... then choose if CEC or FSC or Trades

Average to PPR overall:
* As we can see CEC is the fastest, with 112 days and PNP-O is the slowest with about 157 on average, followed closely by PNP-I and then somewhere in between FSW O and I.

Now, mean average for all streams:
*We can see that processing is slowly increasing and as of now takes longer than at any time before we recorded statistics.

Statuses by month May:
*We can see that most may got cleared their MEP and some started to get PPR.
Statuses by month June:
*June pretty much cleared their MEPs, but at this stage, not many got PPRs and some are still waiting for MEPs *unless their have not updated their statuses despite receiving reminders) .
Statuses by month July:
*As July coming to an end we see that no July applicants have received MEP as of yet, those who marked as MEP most likely got confused with medical pass date and medical done date.
Statuses by month 2019:
*As we can see 47% of Jan got their PPRs, about 40% of Feb and 35% of March. Which isn't bad, but processing time on average has surpassed 6 months this year as of now.

Number of PPRs:
As we can see there is some slowness in number of issued PPRs, its in line with increased average processing time and maybe reduced number of applicants (this is subject to many doubts)

Background statuses by period report (those who didn't get PPR):
*As we can see most of the applicants keep sitting in IP1 status for most of the time, however, when we reach 6 month mark IP2 becomes dominant status (i.e. January)

Total number of applicants:
*As we can see the number of total number of applicants at mid-year is about similar to last year, we don't see much of an increase in reported applicants.
Total number of applicants this year so far:
*May saw quite a hike compared to April and March. So far July and June are being quite slow.

*As we can see there is no greater difference between processing time and family size, however, most applicants have 2-3 dependants, 4-5 is rather odd one out, hence not really representative from overall image.

*There is actually quite a dramatic difference, while Alberta and Nova Scotia being super fast, BC and Ontario take ages to process PPR. We generally believe that provinces have little impact on processing, but as per chat below impact is quite significant.
