Oh last week my husband sent them a webform and they told me that file is under review... not sure what it means... all we can do is just wait.

Thanks for your reply.honestly it's so frustrating waiting so long. Can I ask if I go to canada as visiter then I got visa is it still necessary to go back home and come back.

You can say that again , they are joke and most ridiculous comedian in the universe, I still don’t know why they came up with 12 months processing time when they can’t even keep to the standard, yet they keep asking more people to come over when they have thousands of Aplication over the process time ...

They MUST need another office fully functional like NDVO in that area. NDVO is dealing with few more countries and many categories like STUDENTS, PARENTS, VISITORS and so on. I have seen some cases were dealt with in 4-5 months but very are. An average was 9--10 months from date of application.

So our application was to be completed July 13th (eye roll) but cic was quiet until we sent them a Web form, after which they requested I send my Canadian background check (as I studied and worked there prior to returning to my country) and other documents. We've been waiting since then. Does anyone know how much longer this will take? This waiting game is absolutely frustrating.

Actually there is nothing we can do about this , we all in the same situations, July 6th, 15 month .. I received pre arrival 2 month ago since then everything went quietly.. all we can do is just keep praying and allow God to take control .. the situation is very frustrating like you said , just keep calm and allow God to be in control .
