No updates about the file transfer or the background check after medical results are passed.

Hope the process doesn't get slow. It was exciting till last weekend for me :D

I'm in the same position! Getting impatient, but I know waiting is the name of the game.. Hopefully we both hear something very soon!

No no, on the actual physical application it was right to put 1. That's what we did too. I'm the only one applying for residency and my husband, the sponsor, is a Canadian citizen.

However when it came to entering the number when trying to link my application to GCKey, it worked when I entered 2 and not 1. So I wondered if that question overall was just including the PA and Sponsor?
Okay, I understand now. :)

Hello,

My application was received on July 16th. On Septiembre 29th I got AOR and October 4th SA, since then I haven’t got anything. I see that some of you got the medical request the same day or next day. Do you know if this is normal or should I start getting worried?
More than two weeks waiting for medical request ☹

My application was received July 9th, and still no word. Wife is Chinese, and we’re living together in mainland China.

Hello Everyone, Does anyone call CIC recently? I am trying to call since yesterday and even now today but its keep saying me, "Experiencing high number of calls" , does anyone got chance to talk? They are always super busy.

I am july 6th Applicant and still nothing at all. I am really worried about our situation.

Really, stressfull situation.

i called this morning and was able to connect very easily. I got through on second attempt with a 20 minute wait.

Don't stress, as another poster had said that if your file is in the system it is not being returned at this point. You just need to wait. I had missed the signature on Schedule A so the agent said this morning that if it had to be returned there would be a note on file by now. She said just give it 2 weeks to receive AoR.

July 19th applicant.

Agent advised to wait few more weeks. They have cleared July inland applications, and currently working in July 1st -24th outland applicants.
I spoke to them on Monday. I am July 9th application and in the same boat as you. I saw some of the July outland applicants are getting a reply which is a good sign and ours are on its way.
