Hey, I am in the same shoes. IP on Oct 19, 2018 and quite since then. Mississauga applicant.
Is there a phone number we can call to ask?
Start getting worried.

As a fellow Toronto applicant, there’s nothing to worry if it has only been IP for 5 months... I have been waiting for 18 months now (16 months since IP)

We are in a similar situation. Our exam was on Jan 8. We were told to wait for the letter in about 2.5 months, which are almost gone. Still no news. Is there a number we could call to inquire about it?

Montreal applicant and Decision made around Feb 13th. No response and I don't expect one until end of April/May. Montreal seems to have slowed down quite a bit after Decision Made.

I would not cancel your plans:
a) from stats, from the time you receive the invite to the actual oath ceremony, it is usually a month.
b) If it means cancelling tickets and losing money, I'm not sure if prioritizing citizenship is a good idea - you can always postpone the ceremony. It is only a delay of 1-3 months.

Thanks Hossto but Im in a big problem now. Have to come back from far and spoled all my plan.:(
Unless you really need the citizenship earlier rather than later, I don't see the point of cancelling your trips and losing money/time/enjoyment where you are - at the end of the day, you will receive your citizenship, albeit, a few months later than initially expected. I don't think they will cancel your application (correct me if I'm wrong).
