Hey everyone, Happy New Year! Its been 6 months now since we all submitted our application and hopefully we don't have to wait much longer.

My Timeline:
Application Received: July 21st 2017
SA: November 8th
Medical Request: November 6th
Police Check & Background Check: November 8th
Current ECAS PA Status: Application Received

All documents requested were submitted almost immediately after they were requested. I finally managed to link my application to GCKey on December 14th. Things moved a bit slower with our app but almost all the documents were immediately requested.

My linked application is not updated with the latest updates as ECAS. Is that normal? Is it because I managed to link the application recently?

My husband has applied for application on 8th March , I passed medical exam in April and after that they require background papers on 20th sept and on 20th nov we recieve a request to submit PCC in Delhi embassy nd it’s delivered on 6th dec ,, till now I didn’t recieve any mail or message in my account . It’s been 10months we have applied

My husband has applied for application on 8th March , I passed medical exam in April and after that they require background papers on 20th sept and on 20th nov we recieve a request to submit PCC in Delhi embassy nd it’s delivered on 6th dec ,, till now I didn’t recieve any mail or message in my account . only few march cases are pending otherwise they are currently finalizing May applicants and some of 2016 applications,
May be you will hear in january about your application, as you applied in 2017, so it will be cleared before 12 months, which mean they still have 2 months

Yeah but it’s getting too late ,,, one of my frns who has applied in June ,, now she’s in Canada why march files get late ??

this is true that many late applications are finalized already, but it depend on case to case,
hopefully from tomorrow they will begin work again, they will push the pending applications,

If they decide to have your interview then they will call you otherwise they will send you PPR ,
your medical is still valid till april so may be they will not ask for it.
