Hello,

I am Sept 2015 Inland applicant and I am planning to go to my home country in December. Can i submit the passport in my home country VFS office if I receive the passport request while I am in my home country?

Any feedback on this? I called IRCC and they said they do not have definite answer to this question.. Just wondering if any of you have came across a case similar to this..

Thanks..!!
Are you from a Visa exempt country? I believe if you are, you just have scan the pages in your passport. I am from the UK and have had friends who received their passport requests, all they had to do was scan the pages in their passport.

I have a quick question..

I will apply for extension of work permit online, I got the "employers compliance fee" receipt, is it the only attachment I need from my employer? or does IRCC send specific letter of job offer approval to my employer that needs to be given to me to attach in my application?

Had anyone who has not received their PPR email checked their online application status and if anything has changed?

completed 16 months today...called up cic twice...the first agent said your file is complete and youn should expect final decision any time from now on. I called up second time but the agent was very rude this time and said your background check is complete and 16 months is only an estimate and not a sure time. she said you can call back in 2-3 months again.....SERIOUSLY!!!!!
THIS IS CRAZY
I even asked the agent if I can travel and is there any way to send the passport from my home country but she had no answer...

Guys, anyone here experienced the same as i did?

Applicaion submitted: Aug 4, 2015;
AOR: Nov 10, 2015
AOR: Nov 11, 2015 --- yes, twice;
:starting processing your app on Nov 11, 2015
: Email request to submit spouse's RCMP police check April 25-- submitted within one month;
: Email request to provide Medial report April 26- done in two weeks;

April 26: email to request my US FBI Background Check --done in 14 weeks.
I only stayed in US for four months and thought it's not up to six months, so I didn't request the report when submitting,
which was a huge mistake as it took me 14 weeks to get this shxxxt.

Sorry for the long introduction, I only saw "Medical results have been received" provided 4 weeks ago, my question is does CIC include the 14 weeks into the 16-month processing time? or they were excluded? Besides, i can not link up my application to my CIC account, therefore I can't see what's the process they have made on my case.

The wait is killing me. Anyone who has an answer to this question?

Good luck to all.

Congratulations!!
thanks for your wishes.
It's pretty hard be patient when one has reached 16 months + 12 days and see people who applied after receiving their PR... It's an unfair system from every angle...
Agreed. I have a friend who applied 2 weeks later than me got PPR 1 month ago.. what's the point of setting up a deadline if it doesn't mean anything

Congrats to Shaun!!

My file got received on July 14,2015. I've over the 16 months processing time deadline. I was wondering those of you who have already received the PPR request email, Can you please tell me at what time you got the email from CIC ?
