Our Ecas was updated a little bit.

We received *********** application for permanent residence on July 17, 2014.

We started processing ********** application on April 6, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

Guess this shows that ECAS really does not always get updated.

Applications are not all processed by the same visa office. Every VO has their own time line to completion.
They also seem to rotate the different offices for processing speed. Example. the last few that you have heard from July we were mainly processed through Manila. A couple of weeks ago it was Ottawa that was zipping through a few applications. Next week It could be your office and your turn. Patience and don't lose hope. Its a very frustrating experience to go through this.

Morning Everyone.

Husband received Confirmation of Permanent Residence in the mail on Tuesday! Right after the long weekend. YAAIIIi!!

We applied July 4th - SA Approval September 9th - ECAS In Process update March 20th - ECAS Decision Made March 30th - COPR Papers April 7th.

He's coming home tonight and will present his papers and be "landed"! So excited we are going to throw him a cheesy Canadian party with Canadian flags and cake

WE took every step we could to make our application clear and without question. We included pictures, pictures of our daughter and our wedding. Pics of us hanging out with friends and letters explaining everything. I even photo copied and included a year of maternity leave E.I. slips to show why my income was low that year. So just saying it does help to be thorough for any new applicants looking for advice.

This thread and support group has helped me through tons thanks to everyone and good luck to each of you!!! I know your applications will come through and no one will be left waiting too much longer.

Hey everyone, I got a question about my notes. They say "recommended pass" and "file is ready for officer review". Just wondering if that means good news? Apparently all of my stuff checked out as I read in an earlier note. Just wondering if the end may be near? It was in February when they wrote ready for officer review

It sounds like good news. That is how our 1st notes appeared for my wife. "recommended pass" and the words straight foreward were also written in the notes.

Hey Everyone,

Checked ECAS this morning and our status was updated to 'In Process'

We applied July 21st and obtained SA Sept 3rd.

Hope this is encouraging to other July applications as there seems to be quite a bit of movement over the last couple weeks!

We got our notes back today!!

Relationship considered genuine, and PA (principal applicant) recommended pass!!!!
Just waiting on security and criminality check.
I'm rather confused about this though, because we did the FBI and background checks and sent them in, what are they waiting on? I mean the letters FBI sent us says that it was clean and that is what got sent with our application. So what exactly are they doing? Medials are passed and everything else looks great. They approved our medical and it says it now expires on May 15th (the extended it from april) So I'm wondering if we will hear before then? I am beyond excited about this!! Recommended approval are the prettiest words I have ever read!!!

But yes, wanting to know what is the deal with security hold up? It says "Not started yet"

That's the same type of things I found in my gcms notes and we sent it all in at once too. Happy to see you got ecas update! Hopefully I am in your officers pile! Lol

I just want to know what it means!
Does it mean there is more than just the copy of the paper saying clear? Just odd to me!

Hopefully everyone see's lots of movement now! I can't even explain the amount of weight off my chest when I started reading others getting IP and now myself having IP is wonderful!!
