Finally managed to get through a representative at the call centre....I am glad I called up CIC today to check the status of my application. The good news is they confirmed that I am an approved sponsorer. But the sad part is they have updated both, mine and my wife's (applicant) email address incorrectly and therefore we haven't received the SA yet. :-X

Has anybody in this forum come across such an issue in the past ???.

Please could you guide me how to update our email address. Also, I have checked that on Ecas we can update the mailing address (which is the home address) but not the email address.

Hiiiii everyone i m new to dis forum cpc recieved my file on 21st july nd 2 weeks ago they send an email to my lawyer dat ur file is incomplete send IMM1344 document....can anyone tell me dat how long they will take to approve my file

I sent my application in 14 July, they requested a new form (a ridiculous waste of time) in late Aug which they received on 29 Aug. I haven't heard anything since and cannot log onto ECAS to check up on my status because it doesn't seem to know me or something. Ugh, it's hard to do anything without knowing if we have at least the 1st SA part.

CIC received my application july 7th but they return me back just the form imm 1344 cause i forgot to sign it .. when i receive the imm 1344 i sign it and return it with letter that cic included in the envelope,they also request me to use sticky address with the initial of the agent who treat my file.

They receive it september 25th,so i want know if anyone have the same situation and how many time i have to wait again ... i'm really worried if i have to wait again for 55 days ...

You would believe it but we did put the correct email address in the forms, I double checked even then they managed to mess up mine as well as my wife's email.
Im wondering how is this possible, I thought they only scan the barcodes and all the information comes up automatically, so where is the option for human error???

Anyways does anyone have any idea on how to update an email?

Just logged into ECAS and our status is now "in process"!

Says they started processing our application on Sept 26th
