Hi frds - is it helpful to pay RPRF upfront after medicals have been received by CIC?

Hi,

A June applicant who paid his RPRF upfront is the first one to receive his PPR among the June applicants.

It would be prudent to pay upfront for the applicants who are done with their medicals.

Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
· Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
· Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
· You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant
· You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if you have one
· Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490
· Click “Submit”
· Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca .

pre-MR uploaded on 24th March and confirmed by CIC that it has been received.. yet only 1 line showing under my application status :(

Same here.....CIC acknowledged linking our family's medicals from last year but does not show MR on Ecas.

I don't there is any reason for concern here.

Application Received on July 25, 2014
AOR received (I believe an email confirmation with file number and dd receipt is called AOR. Please advise if it is not) on Oct 02,2014

Waiting for Medicals.

Good morning,

My PR application under PNP has received the first roadblock.... :(

Today morning I received an email from CIC requesting a PCC for India under my previous name. I had submitted the PCC for India with my application under my current name.

In 2004 I did a name change actually its not even a name change, just changed the spelling of my name and followed the legal procedure for the name change (sworn affidavit and newspaper advertisements).

In my PR application I disclosed all this information and also submitted the photocopies in support of my name change. I have 60 days time to submit the requested PCC. Right now I don't know if this is even possible and the icing on the cake is that I just came back after 6 weeks of vacation from India and had this mail arrived a month earlier it would have been easy for me to find a solution :(

I will appreciate any insights/advice here.

Thanks for your time.

Hi astasi,
What's the reason that you applied PR application with two different categories ? If your CEC is going well and smooth, why don't you withdraw PNP application ? I am just trying to understand your situation.
For PCC, I think you may have to goto BLS, tell them your case with all documents, they may issue you a certificate within 2-3 weeks.

Can some one answer quick to my question as I have to book an appointment for upfront medicals tomorrow. I called for doctor appointment, she is asking under which category am I applying. she mentioned me 4 categories. Family, Study, Work or Express entry. She is also asking me whether I have some form from CIC ?
