Hi Guys, can some one pls advise on this:

I haven't included the PCC with application(july'14) but now I have received it myself, do you think it is better to wait until they ask for it or should I send them now before they request for it? appreciate your advise.

Please see below mail I received yesterday .. I didn't submitted my PCC with the application and was waiting for VO to request. But my old PCC has expired

In order for us to continue with the process of your application, you must provide the original police certificate. The validity period is of 90 days from the date of issue.



Please send your police certificate(s) to our office at the below-noted address, and quote your file number on all your correspondence with our office.

You would have submitted before. You no need to wait until VO requested for PCC because PCC is mandatory one.

Yes Kiran, But was not sure as they said in the AOR mail don't send any document until requested. I applied for new PCC yesterday shall get in 10 days.

Thanks devindia and Kiranmayi!! but my new PCC is just received on Mar 1st so within 90 days itself; I am sure they will ask for it within another couple of days as July applicants are receiving medicals and mine receved by CIC on July 18th.

That might delay the processing .. I will recommend go ahead and mail them your original PCC..

Got US PCC request this morning. I'm surprised they didn't ask for the Indian one as the one i sent with the application was old.

My application reached CIC on July 9th.

I got an email from CPC-CTD-Ottawa this morning. No I had not submitted US PCC before as at the time of applying I had not completed 6 months in the US. I had only sent by Indian PCC issued to me in Oct 2013.
