ok makes sense, but if they just leave for a week for vacation they don't need to update CIC right? He didn't leave to work or move addresses or anything like that.

I guess that's really up to those who leave for a short vacation (does CIC care? can't answer for them), but if they do update CIC, a Sch A request is likely.

Hi Everyone...

I submitted my application on 10th July 2014. Added my wife to the file in june 2015. I received MR for her in Oct 2016 and after that I haven't heard anything back from cic. I got GCMS not today and it shows that they started criminal check in the end of oct and it still in process.

Question: I got married in May 2015 and my wife recently changed her name legally (on her passport as well). How should I inform cic about this change? and will it cause any delay in my application or this is simple change?

bit worried...

can anyone please answer?

Thanks

Ok, I just wasn't sure because he was requested to re-submit a new Schedule A back in November but I didn't see anywhere on it where he had to list travel history. Just work experience, addresses where he has lived, education, and organizations he belongs to.

You should tell CIC about it, providing new passport and name change documents ASAP.

I need some paper printout NOA.

if you have an online account with CRA, you can print it online.

OR call CRA and request for a copy, they will mail it out to you (this will be the same as you print online).
