I am a July 3'rd applicant. Finally ecas shows that CIC started processing on March 20'th. any clue how long does it take for them to either request MR or refer for second review? Can anyone who received MR comment please? Thanks :)
How to check that?

I just checked my details it says in process...

I am working full time in Canada since June 2013 on work permit status.
After an year, My wife arrived to Canada in June 2014, she had her medical exams in India during May 2014 to get her open work permit.

We applied PR under CEC in July 2014 (myself as a primary applicant), and now waiting for MR for both of us.
Once we get MR, Can my wife use medical report of her May 2014 medical tests as it is still within 1 year! ?

Yes. She can use it. Just send the medical receipt to CIC when the ask you to do medical

ur spouse medical details are uploaded to CIC before i guess...If CIC asking again to do i think better to do one more time.

Generally they will not ask once they saw the previous medical results on ur file.(not pr file...ur cic file)

Got MR emails for me and spouse few minutes ago :) ;)

That's incorrect MeToronto. The medicals are valid for a year and I have gone through this last year.

My spouse medicals were still valid when we received requests for medicals for PR from CIC.

The panel physician refused to conduct another medical and I send an email to CIC along with the medical receipt and CIC responded by updating her medicals on ecas, although it took 50 days to reflect online.

Hi All,

I was thinking of permanently deleting the following columns from the spreadsheet:

C:Country of Origin
D: Country of Residence
E: Date Filed
H: Payment Method
I: CC Charged Date
J: Expected AOR

Let me know your views.

Hello guys.. i had pre-medical done on 14th March by Dr Richard Chan in Toronto.. Had appointment at 1030am Saturday morning and was done with everything by 1130.. Fee is $190 ($150 for medical and $40 for X-rays).. X-rays are done in another building which is like 5 mins walks away.. It was quite seamless process for and price seems very fair too so I would highly recommend.. There is loblaws parking across the clinic which charges $4 for whole day parking which is not bad either.
He has e-medical facility so no need to bring your pictures etc.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Mesum.

Hi mesumrizvi,

I see that you had done medicals with Dr. Richard in Toronto on 14th March.
I would like to know your feedback - Is your medical report uploaded online by now ? what is your application status showing on CIC website? I read many people complaining that this dr. is not timely uploading the results, so will you recommend as per your recent experience ? Let me know.

Thanks.

i just got confirmation from Doctor's office that results were uploaded on 24th March (test was done on 14th).. it was a very good process actually.. i went Saturday morning around 1030am and was done by 1130 with all the tests and x-rays.. my appointment was for 1015 but i reached a little late.
Parking was not a hassle either as there was loblaws across the street.. so overall i am quite satisfied about my experience.
However, while i was waiting there.. i did see one applicant whose first and last name were swapped by mistake and he had to come back in to get it corrected.. apart from that it was like 30-40 mins drive from Mississauga to downtown which was my only hassle :P
