I am 11th July applicant under NOC 2173. My ECAS 3rd line got updated on 23rd, Jan,2015. No PPR till now.
Any June/July applicant got PPR ?

July applicants need to wait I guess. Coz, as per the stats and posts by our mates NDVO is clearing May applicants now. Many of May applicants got PPR, 4th line update, VISA stampings being done.

Our 3rd line is updated on 30 Jan 2015. We are just 1 week apart. Lets wait and see.

I've applied in May, 2014 for 1222. i have received my file number, but no medical yet. My friend applied with me has received the request for medical even a month ago. I've asked for the status details with an online link from gic.ca a month prior. But no luck.

Any suggestion or insight would be appreciated.

Really they are working in a very random manner or they have certain sort of internal complex algorithim of SOP, which they follow so we are unable to predict how long each stage will take.

I am a july 8 applicant and my VO is manila, got my PER nov.3 and no second line update, no MR yet. Yah, they are slow.

Hi,

I would rather suggest you to wait for one more week, as I have seen few people who are July 1st week applicants waiting to get response from NDVO. I think you definitely hear from them by next week. Good Luck.

I understand there is batch delay for July applicants, but what about May applicants??? Is there any chances of getting rejected and that is why they are delaying or lost the file kinda??

Any insights on rejection chances after getting the file number?

Hey @ neutral_t, Status updates are the key to knowing your progress through the application process. Except that, as far as I know, there is no way to tell what or how they are processing the files. As someone mentioned in this thread before that each and every file is different.It also depends upon your category. But they will update the status, no matter what. To assume the worst is natural, but there is no need to push the panic button as people are still getting status updates every now and then.Keep close track of the May and June threads too. Your friend getting status update does not prove that they lost your file. Neither does it prove that your application is rejected. As of now, It means that your file has not been taken up for processing. Not yet. That's all there is to it. May be it will happen tomorrow or the day after that.
