this is wat i recieved reply from Lvo after 2 days of sending enquiry on sunday nite.i am 9 july applicant .can any please comment that our file isnt yet opened for further processing.its more than 3 months now what shd i do?To raise GCMS notes

You can write to the concerned visa office and ask for an extension. They will provide it.

I have already emailed the NDVO regarding my situation but they didnt respond yet.
Is there any other way of communication to the NDVO?

No 2nd line update, i think its too late. I am very worried, maybe CANADA is not to be for me.

Hi don't worry my friend!! MR might be late but it would definitely come! Once you have the PER, no one can stop your file now! Chances for getting regection are very very less!! Like if have serious medical problem or your duties don't match at all or you have a criminal case against you! So don't worry !!! It might be late but it is still coming.... It's crawling towards you... Maybe not running.....

Same here. July 11, 2014 applicant, Got PER around Mid of November and no news from CIC ever since. I guess LVO applicants from Pakistan will have no wait for quite some time. Don't compare LVO with NDVO. I haven't even got my 2nd line update yet.

Hey @ neutral_t, Status updates are the key to knowing your progress through the application process. Except that, as far as I know, there is no way to tell what or how they are processing the files. As someone mentioned in this thread before that each and every file is different.It also depends upon your category. But they will update the status, no matter what. To assume the worst is natural, but there is no need to push the panic button as people are still getting status updates every now and then.Keep close track of the May and June threads too. Your friend getting status update does not prove that they lost your file. Neither does it prove that your application is rejected. As of now, It means that your file has not been taken up for processing. Not yet. That's all there is to it. May be it will happen tomorrow or the day after that.

Lots of people who applied in July are still waiting for second line updates man, including me.We are one week apart. The fact that you and I have the PER is the most important thing. Like many people have commented, It's coming. But not yet. But not yet. But it will come.It has to come They have not taken it up for processing. Next week may be some of us will be given the good news. Hang on.You are not alone.

Hello friends,

I just received MR from NDVO.

Now my wife is pregnant and due date is in 1st week of May 2015.

Is it good to do our medical test before delivery??? or is it good to do our medical after delivery???

If we do medical after delivery than We get more time to land in Canada as visa is valid till expiry of Medical.

Any Suggestions....
