I am sorry to say but July 8 application were charged around October 20-25 th!!!
I fear that your application might be on its way back!!!
ANyway there is no harm in trying!! try to send an addendum and give your full name/ passport number/date of application received /and Client id if you you have one

advice needed urgently

my application was received on july 8 by cic but I recently realised that my cc card was cancelled by the bank, please advise on how I can quickly update my application with a new credit card details.

In MartinXenix Case, he was charged late and same time with July 18 applicants.

My CC is charged today!

Application was received by CIC: July 10th
CC got charged: November 4th

According to the SS 21st July applicant got charged.. And 9th July applicants are receiving PER.. Even 9th July DD applicant from Bangladesh got his PER.. So it is not the DD which is delaying my file.. Then I thought it might be NOC.. but I saw people in my NOC later than my date also got PER..

I cannot think straight.. I think they may have rejected my file.. But I cannot think of a single mistake.. Only one, I don't know you guys remember or not but in middle of June CIC update the Generic form which was not printable then few days later they published a July form.. I applied with that form but then again after few days that "July Form" was vanished.. Do you think this might be the issue? I am really worried..

I don't think that the form is the problem. A guy who had problems with charging received his file back last week and it seems to me as the same level of control as the form you are worried about. He was 3. or 4. of July applicant.
9. July is just one week after you, it is not that much. It just takes more time for some appliations. I've noticed that while folowing the SS. It is still not time to worry, specially because you used DD as a method of payment. You'll find out that it had been encashed only when you see a date in PER mail, which I hope will be untill the end of this week.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
