I sent our passport for VISA stamping today.

The letter from CIC had only asked for the passports and the CIC letter. I have sent the passports, CIC letter for passport request and a cover letter. However I found that many people are sending photos along with. I haven't done so as it was not asked. Is it a mandate ? What will happen to the stamping in that case ?

I think there used to be a photo requirement in the past but not any more.

I am July 8 applicant. A.O.R received Sept 3/13. MR yesterday at around 8:30 PM. You will get pretty soon.

Congrats Magi. I don't think there is anything to worry about, sometimes ecas takes a while to reflect the most recent changes it seems.

If you're willing to commute, Dr. Francis Li is a good option (located right next to Pape Subway station and open on Saturdays). He does it on a first-come-first-serve, no appointment necessary basis. I would suggest going there on a weekday. His clinic opens at 9am.

Note: he is off this week for March break, but will be returning on March 18th.
