Hello Guys,

I just joined Canada Visa Forum. My application reached the canadian immigration on 2nd-July-2013. I am planning to get married by June 30th-2014. I worried when they will ask for the medicals and passport request. If I get married before they ask for the passport or medicals. Then what will happen after that

My application was sent the application under FSWP from India in July and per the records it was received by them on the 28th of August 2013. I have not heard anything from them till date - I can't see the status online as well - can anyone help me to know how i can see the status of my application please. Any help in this regard would be appreciated

Actually this is the CEC category...you should be asking this question in the FSW category...anyways apply for the GCMS notes and see what is going on with your file....good luck!!!

Any July applicant receive their GCMS notes? I know that there were a few who applied in Dec who were still waiting for them.

I will be getting mine in three weeks so will share when I receive them. Hoping at that time June applicants will be getting their medical requests.

hi... I had submitted for PCC from India with my original application, but I did not send it for spouse. So is there a possibility if CIC may ask PCC for my spouse too ? did anyone receive such request ??

I think you're supposed to send it for all adults who are 18+ old. Most certainly they gonna request it

hi JPMH_CEC_2013,

Even my OWP is expiring by May, 2014 but I dont think so that its good idea to apply for BOWP by March as we might expect Medical request for PR by March and hopefully 1 month later passport request ( as per analysis of timeline of current cases ), so I guess you should be safe enough as ur WP expires in June , better wait till 2-3 weeks before your WP expires and if then too MR/passport request does not come , you may file BOWP coz ur status would be implied.. and I think we are in gud condition as long as WP status is implied

I am thinking to wait till 2 weeks before my WP expiry date which is May, and if nothing comes I would file BOWP by that time..

You should hear from CIC in March or early April. They haven't started to process June as yet but May is almost done. Hang in there.

My employer does not provide an experience letter. Hence I have attached same letter provided to me when my employer applied for my work permit extension. Also included T4, pay slips, promotion letter, salary increase letter. Will this be sufficient?
