dear calgaryboy24 ,
me too a july applicant.Though i am not sure how much time CIC provide about medical exam, i believe it would be min 1 month.experience person call you better. However my perception is currently CIC running very slow as far as i can see even half of the May applicants are still getting/waiting the MR, although we were having impression that since we got AOR so early , the application will run fast in queue, but this is not a case.
so be chill our chance will come approx at the end of feb or March.Dont worry.Njoy your home country trip.

You can do advance Medicals. Most of DMP's in Toronto are willing to do not sure about anywhere outside. Just call Designated doctor and check if they can do it for you.

My dear fellow applicants,

There is no speed at all..... if May applicants are still waiting for their MRs..... how can we expect any good news.... any ways just hang on there.....
I wish CIC to just keep rolling..... it seems so still right now.... hardly any movement.....

Stay strong fellas.....

It seems no any further news from the July group. Just write some words and let the messages of the group not sink too deep. :)

There is a very good chance that most July applicants will not receive an MR request until March/April. That's just the way life is I'm afraid....

I don't understand how immigration works, but some October applicants already have their status changed to in process from application received... It's been almost 6 months for us since ecas shows Application Received, and still NOTHING... That means they haven't even started to work on July applications? :-[

I think they are just slowly changing their processing models. We got AOR's before some June applicants but that doesn't mean we will get medicals before them. In fact, someone from June 09 got medical requests on Friday and got an AOR after all the July applicants.

I am sure we will get medicals before October applicants. It just means that we are in a different operating model than the October applicants, thats all.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with he VO closures.

Hello Guys..

I was wondering if you could plz advice me on something related to my application.

I had applied for CEC back in July and got AOR in August. I had received Notice of Reassessment for my Income tax returns in November.

I had forwarded the new Notice of reassessment to the CPP-O office via email provided on the website. I had mentioned my File Number as mentioned on AOR. I had received an auto-reply after I had forwarded the document but even after almost 2 months I havent received any email stating that the office has added my document to my file.

On ECAS my file still has the status as "Application Received". I am wondering whether is it better to give them a call and figure out about the situation or email them back stating the same scenario.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thnx for your time in reading this. Later....

@rainnybob
It happened to me too.when i sent an email to update the docs, i didnt get any reply apart from auto reply.when i again sent email after 2 months, i got reply that they had already added new docs in your file.
Hope this helps you.

thanks for the suggestion. i also received the reassessment. what is the email id that we need to use for sending additional documents

Thank you guys for your comments and helpful suggestions. Also thought to add some more posts to this thread to increase number of posts, we are sitting on just 22 pages as compared to other threads ;D

Guys, another quick question. I applied for fingerprints from RCMP 2 weeks ago and got the result yesterday and they sent a letter with all info. Do I have to send this to CIC office or would RCMP send my info to them and they sent me a copy as a proof? I have already opened their letter as i was curious to know what's in there :-X
