Iv been in Canada in 2 years working as live in caregiver and recently, applying for Permanent Resident. Just a lil confused about this new revised form- IMM 0008. Do u have any idea in application detail no. 4 this Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application? The instruction doesnt make sense to me it's really confusing


Do u have any idea what immigration office shld i write in the application?? Pls. i need you help. Thank You!!

They are quoting tat it is ur duty rite from finding job to geting license for the same tat u r wrkng wit thm to enable u get the PR.

i read a post and an article as well stating that regulated professions like nurses should have their credentials (work, educ) assessed. Im not sure if this will be implemented this coming july 2012 (i hope not).

Hi, your NOC 2151 ( Architects ) is a regulated profession and will require you to obtain license to practice the same in Canada. This is a licensure requirement when you land. Please refer workingincanada website to get more info and can search for NOC 2151 there.

Secondly, Accreditation / Credential Assessment is a process by which Canada will assess your education qualifications as against Canadian standards. You can submit your credentials for assessment approximately at the time when your medical results are recieved by the Visa Office or when you recieve the PPR. There are bodies like ICAS ( International Credential assessment service of Canada) where you can apply for credential assessment....I think it willl cost you around CAD 200 + including shipping the reports back to you.

Hi im just curios regarding credential assessment, i read a certain post saying that this might be set as a reqt before we can apply for PR this coming july 2012. Is this true? have u heard of such update?thanks
