Hey sundie :) Congrats on getting your application sent! I have just combined yours and almostsean1's details on the spreadsheet, as I am assuming he is your husband?
I also change the VO to London - hope this is correct!

Unfortunately this is a mistake, i am not Sundies' husband. I can see how the two posts could suggest such.

LOL, almostsan1 is not my husband, my husband sent our papers yesterday to Mississauga. Manila that's our VO.

We have well over 100 photos already so I sure hope it's not too much haha but we are just about done with those it's mostly sorting through the emails and stuff now. There are SO MANY there's no way we can send them all. We met online as well but unlike you, we have no way of retrieving the messages we sent each other back that far, luckily we started emailing each other very soon after so there isn't too much of a gap there.

I definitely hear you on that though, we were in a long distance relationship for 6 years and once we finally got to be together in person it made being apart so much harder =( I hope that it doesn't have to last much longer. You are lucky that he can come visit you while you wait, I'm sure that is a huge relief.

I can see how it would be difficult to retrieve information of 6 years ago. DH and I met 3 years ago, and it was easy to find our first communications. I don't know it would have been the same after 6 years!

We were in a long distance relationship for 6 months, then a month together, then another 6 months apart... and I don't want to repeat the experience!! We're really lucky; his boss gave him a 18 months permit to live with me here in my country while working online for him, so he's going to be here until probably August next year. Then, he'll go and we'll be apart again until I get my PR :( I don't want to think about it because it makes me sad, and I should be happy and grateful we get to be together for so much of the process.

=( I understand, friend. I just try to stay positive and not focus on the bad stuff because I know in the end this will all be worth it. You should try and do the same! =)

Not a problem, danielren!

Have updated your info.

we sent out the application on July 2, received by CIC on July 5; VO is Beijing. Btw: what does AOR stand for? Thank you.

one question for all, I forgot to indicate type of sponsorship on envelope and wrote a email to CIC right away. do you think it helps? Thank you. Greatly appreciated it

hi sundie., isa pang tanong gugupitin pa ba ayung mga barcode at idididkit isa isa sa mga forms natin? tulong mga kabayan ???

Hi Superbtang - Welcome! :)

AOR stands for Authorization of Receipt - Basically when CIC open your envelope and it gets entered into the 'system'.

Also, I think many applicants did not put the name on the envelope (including me!) I don't think it will delay the process any.

I have added you to the spreadsheet. When did you complete your medical?
