I was wondering the same thing. There's another thread floating around here about landing but I haven't read through the whole thing yet. Maybe check there?

hi, I dont there is any separate landing fees. all include in your application fees. at leaset my immigration did not require any.

Hi,

I am new here in this forum, a PR of Canada since 2009. I just sponsored my wife just recently thru outland processing. The documents arrived CIC - M last July 6 and the Visa Office is Ottawa since she is an American Citizen. I can share to you other immigration issues because I arrived here in Canada under FSW scheme.

Hi Tony, would you like me to add you to the spreadsheet?

If so, when did you undertake your medical, and when did you send your application to CIC?
Good luck with the process!

Please add me to the spreadsheet:

Spousal Sponsorship -
• Visa Office: Hong Kong
• Medicals Done: July 17th, 2012
• Applications Sent: July 23rd, 2012
• Application Received by CIC: July 25th, 2012 (signed by A. Andrew)

Much appreciated bagelbagel81.

That should be udated for you now!

FYI:

CIC now processing apps from April 30th and sponsor approval reduced to 86 days. At least things are moving in the right direction.

Great! Thanks for pointing that out .. Definitely in the right direction. :)

No worries Tavora,

Also the May spreadsheet indicates that half of May and maybe the first few days of June are also processed. So hopefully, the average time will continue to fall quickly. Fingers crossed.

So potentially around 8 more weeks before we will be seeing some July action... Woohoo

I'm thinking 5-6 wks (avg 10 days/wk), but then I've been told I have no patience (by the principal applicant;)
Can you believe that I'm still sponsoring her with that attitude.

Haha! That's funny because my sponsor says the same thing about me! Having said that I am trying to expect less so I might be pleasantly surprised ;)
