1. May i know when we CIC will receive application for this year?
2. Do IELTS need for my husband?
3. Will CIC update application forms? Can i download application form and fill now? or any new form will come?
4. Is Nursing are in occupational list for this year?
5. When CIC web site will update with new application form?
6. what is the category for nurse category?

But he always welcome people with Independence research plan, if facility permits.

You need a job offer in order to qualify to apply through the federal skilled worker program (per today's announcement).

killed workers are people who are selected as permanent residents based on their ability to become economically established in Canada.

Federal skilled worker applications are assessed for eligibility according to the criteria set out below.

For your application to be eligible for processing, you must:

have a valid offer of arranged employment, OR
be an international student enrolled in a PhD program in Canada (or graduated from a Canadian PhD program within the past 12 months) and meet certain criteria.

Note: As of July 1, 2012, CIC has temporarily stopped accepting applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. We will likely start accepting applications again when the revised FSWP selection criteria take effect. Proposed FSWP changes should come into force in early 2013.

If you meet the above minimum requirements, your application will be processed according to the six selection factors in the skilled worker points grid, which are:

your education
your abilities in English and/or French, Canada’s two official languages
your work experience
your age
whether you have arranged employment in Canada, and
your adaptability.

You must also show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependants after you arrive in Canada.

If you are not sure if you should apply as a skilled worker, you can:

use the Come to Canada Wizard to get an idea of whether your application would be eligible for processing, then
try a self-assessment test to see if you might earn enough points to qualify.

I am speechless.Guessed there will be change but didnt thaught they will pause the whole system.

Dream may be shattered , but everything happen for a reason. And good side of it is that i made lots of freinds through this thread while preparing.

As we need to do is go back to our drawing board and plan effectively and efficiently. Those with low IELTS scores should enhance their Language proficiency. We can also attend French schools in order to get a better TEF scores,with that we can apply through the Province of Quebec. We can also scan and explore the internet for an arrainged Employment Offer. Who says we can not start writing ACCA,PMP et al.

Above all,the most important thing is to pray for Good health and Life. When there is life there is hope n no one would wanna apply in bad health condition.
