Looks like there are a lot of us 1122 applicants! Best of luck to you all. I worked so hard on this application, included our police clearances, got almost everything notarised just to be on safe side, gave more than adequate proof of settlemts funds, got at least 2 friends to proof-read my application etc etc! I really hope we are all successful!

best of luck scottishK. I am sure you will be the first once we will hear from that your CC/BD is encashed.....or is it already encashed???

is there anyone whose CC/BD is encashed.

hi nish or anybody can assume that why our cc not yet encashed still?

Thanks nish & westpoint for adding to spreadsheet - will check it out. Btw, have any of you had a look at trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/federal-skilled-workers - it's an online immigration tracker, which I've also added my details too, as well as checking this forum.

They have as yet to taken funds from my credit card. I did call Barclaycard to warn them that a large amount (classed as "high value") may potentially be taken from my card, so they have made a note on my account. They said that I may get a call from the fraud team to get this amount authorised - I just hope that doesn't cause any problems at the other side (CIO in Nova Scotia). We'll soon find out one way or another!

Will be watching this forum with baited breath to see which of us has funds deducted first and who also hears back from CIO via email. It's exciting but terrifying at same time :o

looking at the last year's tracker spreasheet i found that earlier they took around 45-60 days to charge bd/cc. but later on in most of the cases they have done in two weeks time.

its just twenty days from 1st july and the applications must have started reaching CIC in the 2nd week. so i think we should start seeing CC/BD charged by last week of july or may be few lucky will get the news by this weekend.

my application will probably reach cic by tomorrow.

Need help

I filed my FSW1-NOC#1122 application on 1st July 2011. The application was received on 6th July 2011. I believe its currently undergoing Completness/Eligibility check.

I am claiming 70 points on my application with 5 points of adaptability as my Paternal Uncle is canadian citizen. i have provided his passport copy(as proof of status) & Telephone bill/Bank Statement copy(as proof of residency). However i was unable to provide the document(i.e birth certificate of my uncle & father) to prove Proof of Relationship. The document is not available, since birth registration was not there in 1960's in india & were only introduced after 1970's. The new checklist on cic website explicitly mentions to provide birth certificate of applicant father & uncle to trace their parents.

I did not provide this explanation while submitting the application. I just happen to know from CIC new checklist that an explanation is required if applicant is unable to provide certain required document.

Though i have already mailed(FSW‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca) them my circumstances, please can anyone suggest better approach ?

Without this 5 adaptability point my score will end up on 65 & hence rejection .

Pls help

hi west point! thank you for creating this one! i scanned lang the website, seems there are changes as well in the forms...

Important:

New forms and an updated Instruction Guide and Document Checklist (IMM 5612) are now available. Applicants should follow the new Instruction Guide when preparing to submit an application

Applications that are received by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) on or after November 14, 2011 that have not been prepared using the updated Instruction Guide and the Document Checklist (IMM 5612), will be returned as incomplete.

Note: As of July 18, 2011, applicants for Permanent Residence are asked to complete the new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008). Applicants are encouraged to complete the form electronically and validate the information to generate 2D barcodes before printing. To ensure you have the most recent application form, please use the link to the application form below.

well we can only hope for now that CIO will not be very strict and would just ask you for that missing documents (w/c is very crucial to your application) although it would have been best if you had made an explanation, notarized it and checked with the document checklist what they are requiring...before sending...include in your inquiry to them abt the status of your application as well...then, let us know what they say...goodluck.

hi cherbel!

yes there are changes in the forms, so to aspiring applicants please take note...before you send ur applcation to CIO please check, recheck, check and rechek it against their requirements...it could sound OA but it's worth it in the end ;)
