I am still not able to login to check my eCas. My PER came on 29th dec. any thoughts? I have tried every combination with uci and application numbers.

Dont worry avikashyap, same was with me. I hv rcvd my PER on 23rd dec nd i was unable to login inspite of all efforts. Then i send an email to CIC about my situation with all my details. After 5-6 days of email to them, u knw yesterday my ecas got functional. I dont knw it is due to email or otherwise, so send them an email with subject as ECAS UNAVAILABILITY.

Indeed your highness....
But can you please tell me why they hide the addresses for such a long time? If we say they are working (as stated by you) then if package is ready to ship and as you correctly mentioned that before sending the package they dont want us to change the address anf for which they hide it...then why they took so much time to Ship....
My address was gone at 1st or 2nd week of DEC and reappears yesterday only.....

Timing for each processing file is something difficult to undestand and narrate.....

Whatever is happening lets pray it will be for our GOOD only....

While reading through those numerous pages today, I found somebody had asked for clarifications regarding the address appearance and dissapearance mystery. Here's my explanation:

When they want to send us a mailer/package they take the address off ECAS. Then after they ship it, they put it back on ECAS again. So we hear people saying address dissapperance means "good news".

Here's what I think is their purpose for doing this. Just below our address on ECAS there is an option to write to them about change of address, if any. When they get a package ready to be shipped to us, they take the address off ECAS, which means thereon no changes would be accepted for that particular package. Then after shipping that package, they put it back again (so if there are any changes we could get it done during that time), till its time for them to send the next package.

This is my view of course.

Corrected to blue. Why do you say 'our'? Did you send two applications? Do you have two login names ???

I am OCT 28th Applicant with NOC 3113. Currently it is 463 as of January 3rd, 2011. 37 entries left before CAP of 500 reaches.

Do you guys think I can make it to the cap?

Please share your experience/expertise.

Dear Chintu it depends the number of applications received by CIO between 20th to 28th October because recent updates of CIO is of 20th October.

Dear NKKD Hortons, everhope and myself sent applications on the same day and B D en-cashed too same.But our NOCs are different. still no PER? But we see that others colour has changed when they received PER, we were enlighted to see our color in GREEN, but without PER how could it be.Somehow we would like to see our names in GREEN at least till PER comes. Thank you very much .

Would you like to call CIC? I would suggest that. It will help. The number is mentioned in various previos posts. Pick it up from there and call them.
