u better ask qorax as well. u say tht they know tht u applied in 3152............how do they know? did u get a UCI for returned application?
secondly if there has been some experience or job which u didnt mention in the returned application n these details were checked by CIO officials u will b in trouble. becoz this wud be construed as misrepresentation of ur case.

I too had my application returned in January last year citing cap reason, there weren't any red tick marks only two numbers written in pencil at the top & date/stamp of FSW mail room. Logically too why would/should they take the trouble to check your entire forms / documents when ultimately they are going to return it.

@ amir, you say you have UCI, are you able to log into CAS with that number? If not,that number must be something else.

optimist u seem to know about the rules regarding the old n new applications. as i told u tht she got her application package back. all the documents and forms were thoroughly checked and she was given a new UCI. the dd was not encashed n there was an accompanying letter asking her to provide the old application number.
my question is:
will her case go into the queue once more or it is already within the cap n they will just process is it once they get the missing information. wht do u think is gonna happen?

I am neither senior nor expert . In my opinion, as long as DD is not encashed, the application does not fall into the cap. The application was returned as it was considered incomplete. Your friend must have mentioned the old application somewhere and did not give the app number. Otherwise, I don't think the CIO would ask for it. Hope seniors can clarify further.

My application was also returned last june due to payment problem. So it had red markings on it and there was a number written with pencil smewhere in the middle of the page (but not in the UCI box) so we figured it's not a uci and didn't mention it.

ashtoshka, your application was refused for payment problem & not for cap reached i.e. it was checked for completeness & next they tried to charge, so you had red ticks there on the forms.

I don't remember of any UCI box in the previous form " Application for permanent residence in Canada"( imm0008). Correct me if I am wrong.
