Canada to become a jobs hub in 2012
by Harleen Kaur - December 8, 2011

Canada, 8th December: Canada is going to become a jobs hub for those possessing high-skills and qualifications.

Canada needs skilled professionals in 2012-In the coming year, Canada will be needing around 10,000 professionals and skilled individuals to be employed at variou vacant positions of jobs in Canada. Jason Kenney, the immigration minister of Canada has intentions of inviting skilled foreigners to be recruited for such jobs.

Although, the rate of joblessness in Canada is high, but a point worth noticeable here is that Canada still has a great demand for skilled professionals because the economy is in a boom.

So, it needs workers to fill the gap between high demand and less supply of required professionals in Canada. Anyone with requisite skill-sets and required work experience in his chosen field of expertise is welcome to come and work in Canada. The category of Canada skilled worker program provides a route to immigrate to Canada for foreign skilled professionals wanting to live and work in Canada.

""Booming economy of Canada has large number of vacant job positions waiting to be filled. Hence, it is a good for foreign skilled professionals to act fast and cash in on such rare opportunity to not just live and work in Canada but also to become Canada citizens.""

Plenty of jobs in Canada--The fact that Canada is having a plethora of job opportunities become evident from the increased number of Americans flocking to Canada for getting jobs here. And the official figures also suggest that the number of applicants from America for Canada temporary work visas is going to move up even further in the coming year clarifies the scenario.

That's because the recent recession has left the US economy baffled leaving a large number of Americans jobless. In such a case, Canada seems to be an optimum destination for getting jobs.

Canada citizenship through Canada jobs—Many of Canadian jobs also offer opportunity to become citizens of Canada for foreigners. No wonder, this is enticing for majority of foreigners wanting to come and live in Canada and alluring to grab such an offer at the earliest.

Although, not all jobs come with such offers, but many provide such opportunity for gaining Canada citizenship.

Howzattt

Dear forum mates,

We are "family" here. I understand that even amongst families, misunderstandings arises. Some posts which are not intended to offend could result to being misinterpreted and therefore hurt, offend some readers and 'sometimes' result to negative feedback as well. It is a normal thing.

But please remember, we are also educated adults driven by one goal, and that is to get to Canada. This desire has lead us to this forum with the hope of finding answers to our questions, with the eagerness to share what we know based on actual experiences (if not by ourselves then by our friends or by our relatives). We have gained knowledge and best of all the big bonus of gaining acquaintances and friends.

I write to kindly request from members to please refrain from further commenting to posts which one interprets as 'provocative' or 'provoking a negative response'. It is always best to respect ones opinion/s and this way we prevent misunderstandings. If there are clarifications that one would like to send to somebody, please do so via private message (pm). When we reprimand or would like to discuss an important matter w/ a family member, we always do our best to do it in private right? We do not shame our love one in public, so let us do the same here.

The waiting for updates will make applicants anxious, stressed, and sometimes 'sensitive'...but life is always full of trials, and amidst these, let us do our best to be composed, calm, mature, understanding and see things sensibly. However, do not forget to take the time to laugh, find humor if u must. Humor adds spice and eases the tension on waiting, it calms the nerves down. Do not be soo serious guys. So relax, take things slow, sip tea or coffee, breathe and tell yourself you are OKAY, you are FINE and let things go...

Thank you. I wish everyone to have a good week ahead, and happy holidays in advance ;)

Hey SM...I tried to figure which date you would get your MR, but I don't seem to get any intution yet!!! If I do feel it, I shall PM you!

Thankyou Your Highness! Same here, no feel about it yet, i feel 1122 MRs will be lil more long drawn like Alain mentioned... maybe more scrutiny, interviews... etc. so we finally booked our tickets today morning! going on a vacation for 2 weeks! To India!!

Please dont say "failed". Your application and documents are already ready (I mean you must have kept a second set). Send your package by the end of June 2012, say around the 28th or 29th and make sure it reaches CIC by 1st or 2nd of july. You will be thru.

You will be delayed by 6 months....thats it.

ok we should be ready at july 1st and resubmit our applications, but what about the expected changes in the points system such as age and ielts score...i already had 67/67 with my best performance in ielts, so, if any changes i will be below 67.....

I think its better to be prepared, isnt it? Incase this year does not work out (God forbid!)

There will be changes to age for sure. Maximum points will be given till 35 unlike 49 this year. There will be changes in IELTS, profession wise. Meaning professions that don't need very high IELTS would be considered. Other thing is education. Same like IELTS. Some NOCs may not require a Bachelor's degree to get maximum points.

So, I dont know your age, but in all other factors, it will remain the same for you I guess. This is my personal opinion.
