i am surprised by the big jump in the 0631 on the last update. i thought tht after the last update there wud still b 20 odds places will be there. but my theory is tht cap is based on completeness check which shud put u within the cap.

Yes Ovais....the sudden jump took me by surprise too. We were averaging 22 odd applications between updates, this time it was 40!!

Just cool down my friend. If you are 20 th September Applicant and worried, then let me tell you I am the 26 th sept applicant on same NOC. I am telling you, you are in, in and in. From my last year experience I am telling you this. Next week when 0631 will be 500. Then after add more 2/3 weeks with September 10, Which I mean, up to 24th of September or may be up to 30th September applicant will get the PER, it is my expectation.All my forum members please note this, my friend Toronto 25 is in. Keep touch buddy.

hello there, yes i do have an agency, i have a sister in toronto but still on working visa so i had no points for that..I started working as a University nurse june to oct of 2009,i was then transfered to the nursing department as a clinical instructor,till now CI pa dn po ako..

boozer whats the status of ur ecas? sis chebheng has an additional ecas line daw na started processing application last dec 1..dba magka timeline kayo..sana soon makarinig narin tayo ng any news kahit additional line .................................

Everyday i check my Ecas status, and still it has only 1 lyn, we receive ur application last july 18, and nothing else, I dont mind waiting for another week, I just hope everything will be fine, i wish you same too..Godbless!

Hi Boozer24,

I just wanted to find out if he has extensive work experience in his qualifying NOC. I think the Manila VO does extra verification checks for new nursing graduates because there is currently an oversupply of more than 200,000 nurses in the Philippines. That means it will be hard for newly grads to gain paid full-time work experience in their field. And that may be the reason why the Manila VO has started asking for records of social security contributions, etc.

Butetebetlog will easily clear the extra verification checks. He has more than a year of experience as evidenced by his employment and GSIS records.

Alain thanks for that, I'm a bit worried because I am also a registered nurse and I am very well aware of the oversupply of nurses, and I know many has had fake certificate of employment.. Luckily I was hired by the University from where I graduated right after passing the licensure exam last 2009..
