Hey ... i just checked photocopy of my DD.. there is no expiry date mentioned on it. However, why did my bank say so!!!

Hey Vinod

You won't imagine how relieved I am to hear that your BD does not have an expiry. I had called my bank before logging into the forum to ask about 3 months validity of BDs and they mentioned that ALL BDs irrespective have an expiry of 6 months, never 3 months. But then I suddenly realised that you are from London, and this is true for India only. And it got me worried again.

However now that you mention there is no validity mentioned, it must be either 6 months, or none at all. So no worries friend. We are on for our journey ahead....to Canada :-) I feel much better now.

May every one of us have a smooth journey without any hiccups. After having putting hours of work on the application, it should not be returned due to some silly issue. Pray!!!

Cheers

Hello comrades,

This is about the fourth time that i called the CIO on phone without the call centre agent picking my phone for almost 30 minutes.

It is indeed milky if you are calling them from any of the Afriican countrries.

I chosed option 1-2-1-2-0 and was not answered and when i also keyed in my old UCl no by choosing option 1-2-1-2-1 it requested for one 4 digits number which am not aware of.

Anyone with clearer views huh?

Spicey

hey friends
i applied in the first week of october ..cio received my file on 10/03... when can i expect a PER..........please advise as i m not sure what month they are working on right now and wats the turn around time...

thanks

Hey Sorav, like I had mentioned to you in your PM, we should start our look out for a PER only by Mid December (I am mid Sep and u r early Oct, so we r around the same time). Thats what I feel, after having seen the timelines of our forum friends here. If we start fretting before that, we might stress ourselves rather unnecessarily. Lets see our August friends through and then our chance will come by God's grace.

I was in the same "worry...worry...worry...boat" as you, but then I stopped to think, and found that my worry is not going to change anything in CIC. So I stopped all of it and rather started taking pleasure in the achievements of our seniors here. Dont worry so much buddy! We'll be through!!

Cheers

As I find there is an applicant from New Delhi (NOC.3152) whose application was received on 19 July has been Positive eligibility review on 19 I don't know what happened to my case? And I wonder if cio account the Cap by day or by hours/minutes.
Ah Ha, I found it in OP 6 Manual, 5.2 on page 12: In calculating the caps, the CIO will consider applications in the order of the date they are received. Applications received on the same date will be considered for processing having regard
to routine office procedures.
I hope this helps.

Hi Pippin, nice to see you post on this thread. You & all the post 26 /6 2010 can be a great guide to us post July 1 2011. MI3 is only an extension of MI2 (only caps limit cut down), all the other things remain the same.

Thanks.

@ Your Highness,

Thank you for your support. i too feel much better after i couldn't see any expiry date on my DD. Let's see what is going to happen!

By the way, I am from UAE. Applicants from UAE are supposed to opt London as visa office since London is processing applications from entire GCC.

Best wishes :)

My ECAS now shows an additional line 'We started processing your application on XXXXXXXXX'

Congrats 67 points :) you should now have your MR/RPRF/PCC soon.

The line "we started processing....." was the actual indicator of being 'In Process". It all changed this year. I guess all Manila applicants with 2nd AOR should have this line showing in their ecas details by now..

Will be grateful if Kabayan of 67 points can check their ecas today for us & report here if/if not any new additional detail added.

Seniors please help.. I received my PER today and I have changed my mailing address and employer after I apply to CIO.. In the PER they say that we should inform any changes to the visa office. How do I do that? Should I include the new experience letter from the current employer? Please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

innovation & realmadrid,

You both can use this form to report correction /changes in address or changes to employment.

Westpoint,what should I do?
I am very surprise to get the update from cio this mornint which reply that my application was returned on 26 Sept 2011 as the cap of NOC 3152 has been reached. As I find there is an applicant from New Delhi (NOC.3152) whose application was received on 19 July has been Positive eligibility review on 19 I don't know what happened to my case? And I wonder if cio account the Cap by day or by hours/minutes. If they do receive the application according to the day, why I was out of the cap whereas the other people in? could you help me to find Tkaur81 and I want to ask he/she the exact time of his/her appilcation was recieved by cio. I just find his information on the statistic form which worked by you. I don't know any other information. thanks!
Tkaur81(name)/3152/New Delhi/7-19-2011(recieved date)/9-16-2011(encash)/10-19-2011(per)

this might help to understand the mysterious CAP SYSTEM!!
