Dear forum mates,

We are "family" here. I understand that even amongst families, misunderstandings arises. Some posts which are not intended to offend could result to being misinterpreted and therefore hurt, offend some readers and 'sometimes' result to negative feedback as well. It is a normal thing.

But please remember, we are also educated adults driven by one goal, and that is to get to Canada. This desire has lead us to this forum with the hope of finding answers to our questions, with the eagerness to share what we know based on actual experiences (if not by ourselves then by our friends or by our relatives). We have gained knowledge and best of all the big bonus of gaining acquaintances and friends.

I write to kindly request from members to please refrain from further commenting to posts which one interprets as 'provocative' or 'provoking a negative response'. It is always best to respect ones opinion/s and this way we prevent misunderstandings. If there are clarifications that one would like to send to somebody, please do so via private message (pm). When we reprimand or would like to discuss an important matter w/ a family member, we always do our best to do it in private right? We do not shame our love one in public, so let us do the same here.

The waiting for updates will make applicants anxious, stressed, and sometimes 'sensitive'...but life is always full of trials, and amidst these, let us do our best to be composed, calm, mature, understanding and see things sensibly. However, do not forget to take the time to laugh, find humor if u must. Humor adds spice and eases the tension on waiting, it calms the nerves down. Do not be soo serious guys. So relax, take things slow, sip tea or coffee, breathe and tell yourself you are OKAY, you are FINE and let things go...

Thank you. I wish everyone to have a good week ahead, and happy holidays in advance ;)

Alain,

You're going to be the second "whatever happened to his application guy" because, apparently, I am further down their priority list.

After a blistering start to my process, it seems my application has been lost in the abyss of CHC London.

CIC reviewed my application and sent me a letter on 08/09/11. Since then, they have been as silent as a dark night in Saskatchewan. No "we began processing", no "MR", not even an acknowledgment of the additional updates I sent them by courier - which included an address update as my current address on ECAS is incorrect.

I'm starting to doubt if they actually meant to sent me the PER letter.

On a brighter note, Barcelona won the el Clasico! Forca Barca!

One part of me is relieved to see I am not the only one floating in the black hole. 1122s in general are treading a much longer road to a MR.
Regardless of your ECAS status, I think you will get your MR way ahead of me. So please let me know when that happens so I can look forward to receiving mine next.

wonderful news!!! good luck with the rest AHORA!!!!

OMG!!! Thank god there is this forum. I just have to say i am feeling so happy for all the PER and Medicals and the great news. But at the same time, eventhough I got PER, I am so worried about he rest of the process. My ECAS still says "in process" and "we received your application the 31 of August." I feel in limbo and very anxious sometimes. Everyday is so hard to put up with, and now i received not such good news about my son, might have hypothyroidism(he is 13) and i do to. This gets me worried for the medicals.
On the other hand, reading everyones comments (hard to put up with lately lol) make my day!!!
Well, I am sorry if this comment isn´t suppose to be here but I needed to let go of my feelings. It is a long anxious journey and I just hope
with God´s help we all make it there and our dream come true.
Thank you for reading and your comments will be very helpful if anyone is feeling the same way.
