Usually once fees deducted by CIO it shows one line then once PER sent by email then 2nd line appears on ecas and once it reaches visa office 3rd line will appear and once they send MR 4th line will come.Once you submit medical reports 5th line of medical recieved will enter and lastly once visa issued 6th line of decision made.

quite good news in a way, somehow it gives u a window to the status of ur application and at the same time gave u an opportunity to give it ur best shot ;)

meanwhile gather all the docs required, you know it could take time in nso or in our lcr but u still have time to get em. just an unsolicited advise, make a family tree showing how ur uncle is related to u, then get all birth certs w/c shows the link. bring old and new photos too (would be better if ur included in the photo together w/ ur uncle, ur mom/dad and whoever is the link between u and ur uncle)...u can do it ;) ;) ;)

Thank you very much dear westpoint :)

Status on ecas will be 'inprocess' at CIO stage then' RBVO' at visa office stage AND once again it will go for 'inprocess' stage when they really statrted background checks. However different visa offices acts differently in this matter.Like manila will keep status 'inprocess' even after visa office stage while newdelhi is going to RBVO AND 'INPROCESS' once they issue MR.

Yeah it goes like you are saying but in case of London applicants except early July applicants, I think no1 has got 2nd and 3rd line so far after 8th July applicants.

I think London Visa office is minimizing the contact with applicants and/or updating the e-cas of each applicant on each step to reduce the processing time. That's why none of London applicant has received any e-mail of RBVO.

Hoping that London Visa office will directly move applicants to MR stage or documents request stage skipping RBVO and letter sent etc.

we'll see up till January. How London V Office will go.

To add to the jitter, I've been requested for an interview on January 26. The embassy is asking for documents showing my relation to my declared relative in Canada (which I already sent with my application but it was on late registration since the originals burned down during the Japanese occupation. Yes, my uncle is quite old.). And also they asked to bring other documents to prove my employment. oof.

All the very best buddy for the interview. :)
I am sure everything will go smooth as said by every1. 8)
