Hi guys just now I contacted CIO the lady said that currently CIO processing file received in 22nd of August and your file which received in 2nd of septmenbet is not opened yet really I do not know :-\

There are still some applications from 22nd to 25th August. Not all would have been completed. Which confirms what Farukh has been saying all this while. Completeness check would have been done for applications till 31st Aug and may be more. Only then they can open applications of 31st even though 22 - 25th Aug are not complete, because they have to maintain the sequence somewhere and do it while doing the completness check.

melkhatib - please do get in touch with your bank. I think they might tell you of the encashment very very soon

did you remove the spaces??

Yes, there are no spaces in the email...this is the email reply that I got when I tried resending the email (Don't know if this would help):

Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists:

FSW‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca
The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please check the e-mail address and try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator.

Have you tried inquiring to that email address as well?

Thanks

If you are saying that documents which were delivered on Aug 22 are the one's being processed, that could be the reason why I am not yet able to receive any confirmation from the CIO because mine was delivered last August 30. Hopefully that's really the case....I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

You can change your address from ecas main page dear!

Hi there

Sorry have had computer problems. Going to sound really silly but I have been checking my application through the CIC website and can't see where to change my address. Is there another way to access ECAS? and if so could you let me know how.

Thanks for your help
