Hi Forum members,

Today My address on eCase Status disappeared.

What it could indicate?
I dont think application reached VO as I received PER on 25-10-11. So it will not be MR.

The MR package from CEM contains the letter of instruction for MR/PCC/RPRF, a form to be filled up by the physician (that has a picture of u on it lol), an invite to CIIP/COA/PDOS and brochures for the pre-departure seminars.

Applicants have 60 days to complete the MR. In the clinic you just need to show them the letter sent by the VO along with passport and valid IDs. They took blood samples for testing of HIV and other blood-borne diseases. They also took a urine sample so drink lotsa water. I also had xray of the chest area for tuberculosis and COPD. They asked for history of illnesses and surgeries (pretty long litany of questions there lol) even piercings and tattoos. Blood pressure, BMI, eye exam, physical exam. In the physical exam, they'll have u strip. They will palpate certain parts of your body like the thyroid, breast and abdomen to check for masses. They also check for hemorrhoids lols. If you turn up positive in any of these, they have the option to make u undergo surgery prior to migrating. They can also make u undergo additional exams specially if you have kidney, heart and liver disease. Minimum amount for medicals is 4KPhP and addl costs are also shouldered by the applicant.

The doctor said that they will send the medical results to CEM after 7 working days. I issued a 21K PhP managers cheque (per adult) for RPRF and sent it to CEM along with the cover letter sent by CEM and PCC.

Definitely good info. And what do you mean by your sentence that " they have option to make you undergo surgery prior to migrating"????
Does it mean that your Medical will be sent to VO and VO will ask you go for surgery or Physician will ask you to go for surgery and then do medical again???

I found the below medical information from the following link; for detailed medical info follow the link.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/appendix-02.asp

Field 8 – Urogenital system

Vaginal examination, together with a Papanicolaou smear, should be undertaken only if clinically indicated, such as by the presence of pelvic masses noted on abdominal examination, or dysfunctional uterine bleeding. At the applicant’s request, this examination may be undertaken by the applicant’s own physician or gynecologist, who should provide a written report. That report is to be included and forwarded to the regional medical office with the IME.

Rectal examination is required for male applicants more than 50 years old. At the applicant’s request, this examination may be undertaken by the applicant’s own physician or proctologist, who should provide a written report. That report is to be included and forwarded to the regional medical office with the IME.

It shows that abdomen (Vaginal examination) will be performed if there is some clinical problem
and Rectal examination for males is required for older than 50 years...
So i think striping will not be for everyone. don't know how far i'm true.
