thanks for the info.. I guess they based the cap numbers according to completeness then BD and CC are done after that.. My BD is still not yet encashed. BTW, May I ask why did CIO returned your apps? whats the missing docs in your package? Really nervous about this one.. :-X

Hi Jijitipie,

First time, Our file reached on 31st aug, everything intact except our birth certs.(We didn't have them then).
so it was returned & I got it back after over three months. From the forum I came to know that somewhere in September ,they have started accepting 10th class certificates in place of birth certs. for NDVO applicants.

We felt that was unfair to us. So we sent our file again in January with a request to reconsider it & count it in the cap ( initial date of 31 aug) as we too are from NDVO. They sent it back again saying the cap has been reached. & there are no H&C considerations for FSW MI2.

We hope we get lucky 3rd time.

Thnx.

Jai mata Di.

GUYS I THINK NOW A DAYS CIC IS MAINLY FOCUSSING ON THE COMPLETENESS OF DOCUMENTS RATHER THEN CHECKING THE POINTS ELIGIBILITY..........................EVEN IF THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR DDs AND CCs IT IS NOT SURE THAT U R SELECTED OR NOT.....................YOU WILL BE SELECTED WHEN YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR FIRST AOR.......AM I RIGHT...........PLEASE COMMENT.

Exactly.

What's the earliest timeline that we can expect for July 2011 applicants to receive their AOR? Is there a chance we may know our fate in say, 2 months time? given that CIC will now be processing lesser number of completed applications under the 500 cap/NOC?

When i last checked with the bank last week they told that my bd has not been en-cashed but a friend of mine who also submitted his application on the 14th under noc 1122 was told by that his bd was en-cashed but they cant give details at that moment due to some system problem.
We did not believe as the bank was not able to give details that when exactly the bd was en-cashed. And at that time nobody from the forum had claimed of getting any cc charged or bd en-cashed.
Thats y i dint post this earlier....
I believe that was a case of misunderstanding which the bank staff had
I will go to bank next to confirm when noc 1122 will have reached 500 .............

that is one of the problems with some banks, not so good an after sales/transaction service. some staff could be so busy they would just tell you it's not encashed yet but the truth is they didn't even bother checking. or it could be that their confirmation from foreign banks has not been posted yet hence their reason of not encashed yet...

1st AOR is the acknowledgement of receipt (of your applications), this is when u pass the completeness and eligibilityr eview, after this they will then forward it to your VISA OFFICE, then 2nd AOR will come from your visa office. your vo does further review of documents, background cheking etc.

Hi brown eyes,

Recently two of the members who filed their application on 1st June received per email on 29th July. For us too I hope, with same pace, PERs should start coming by 1st week of september.(Of course,if we are in)

Also worth mentioning, last year the 1st PER came about in 4 months & with latter some (Jan-Feb-Mar) applicants reportedly having PER in less/little over than a month. Now again PER time is dragging to 2 months. Also it depends on case to case.

Sending of PERs/NERs from CIO Sydney do progresses chronologically. Later on, when files are transferred to VOs ,the timelines become lot more haphazard & case-specific, and the fact that some VOs are faster than others.

Thnx.

Can our VOs reject our applications on basis of incomplete documents or not fitting the NOC job description once it is transferred to them? Or is their authority to reject based solely on security and financial aspects of our applications like having a crime record, or not having enough funds?
