I called them again but they are busy and unable to assign an agent.
I applied in 1122 NOC and application was received at CIO on 11th July 2011, No CC was not encashed.

Hello Kelsey,

Yes the number is of Canada Trade but if you chose the correct option it will be routed to CIC (Options are 1,2,1,2).

if you dont have the Client ID, do not provide anything when prompted two time and then will forward it to an agent to support you!

One Step gone ahead in my case, well I did not checked my Ecas status last week, checked in morning & its new......`In Process`now. SO i think next STEP is 2nd AOR, i think NDelhi VO will take time for that.just guessing, because they got a lot no of applicants.

I just called 0016139444000 and after waiting in the queue, someone named Mary answered the call, she asked questions like Last Name, DoB and number of persons in the application.
She asked me to hold and within 2 min she came back and stated that my file is returned with a letter on 21st September 2011.
I was very dissappointed, immediately called my representative, he said to have not received anything, the number I called he said is of Canada Trade and they do not have anything to do with CIC, accordingly the application should still be with CIO and only once the decision is made CIC will record the informaiton, also they do not entertain any telephonic queries etc....
He further said to have no reason to hide if they have returned the applicaiton, I am real confused which informaiton is to believe.

Can someone really help/guide me here to find out the facts!

Hi, Ahmed! May be you misunderstood person you talked to? I just made a call there, had to wait for about 20 min on hold, but finally found out about my case. They said that they sent me a letter on 22nd of September by regular mail. I asked if they sure that it was only letter or also my application was sent back to me. So they said they sure about letter only, they just don't have information about subject of the letter. Then I asked about my CIN, they said they don't have it yet... and that I should wait till the end of this month to recieve information from CIC by e-mail. They also mentioned that they currently processing mid of July aplications. So, Ahmed, may be you also are going to recieve just a letter with your file number from CIC? Try to call them again and ask if your aplication was sent you back or not.

By the way, we are in the same boat, I also applied for the most "popular" NOC 1122, my file was recieved by CIO on 21st of July. I asked about my chances to be in the cup, they said they don't have such information...))) Well... nice try...)))
