I just came to know from my bank that my BD is being encashed on 16th of Sept., besides that no email received from CIO regarding my status. As I had learnt from others that they do receive email saying application is under initial assessment.

3131 Cap is now 232.... If i apply on October 15 ... will it be fall in CAP ... the recieve of application means what... the receive of application at the office? or when the start processing....? :'( :'( :'(

Update Please!

A note of warning to those who are still preparing your applications- One of the most common mistakes noticed is 'not signing ' on the forms/incomplete forms. Applications have been rejected in the last year for mistakes as simple as forgetting to tick in a check box if a dependant child was married or not. Proof read your application as many as 10 times. Even after that, we found mistakes in our application on our way to the fedex office too.....had to stop by at an Office depot to make corrections and get fresh copies. Watch out for those little details.

I emailed CIO asking the status of my application under NOC 3152 which they received 07/13/2011 and I just received their reply stating:

Your submission is with our office and is currently awaiting initial review. You will be contacted in due course.


I am jez worried that the cap has been reached already several weeks ago and yet my documents are still in que.. Another problem is that the bank always tell me that they cant track the encashment of my BD.. Dang!
