When CIC send applications to VO??

Option 1: After 1 mnth from PER rec. date
Option 2: Immeidately within 1 week after PER date.
Option 3: By/after reviewing all the application under that NOC.
Option 4: After Cap reached date is announced.

Pl comment....

Also, are we going to see the status description changed to "File transferred to VO"? Will it be under status "CIO-S Eligibility Review Complete" or some other status ?

Jokes apart. Good analysis. But what are your thoughts on Melkhatib's comment, on the number of applications slowing down....highest, by far, being July, and decreasing gradually. Would really like to know your opinion on that. Waiting.....

there are three forms of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics. so i hoping tht my calculation is one big fat lie and u make the cut. i really do agree with the logic of melkhatib that after the intial rush of july applicants the influx of application will ease off. be sure that ur application stands a very good chance of making it within the cap. i am praying for u. n yes i like ur energy and enthusiasm. Does anybody know about the status of Damscus Visa Office, due to recent situations in Syria ?
Is it operationally active or our applications will be processed in another office ?

Hello Melkhatib,

From your data I have gathered that, during July for 3131 and 0631 the rush was there as these are people from MI2 who were waiting for the CAP to be opened, to file their application.

However Aug sees a slump because these are people like us from MI3, primarily, getting our docs together, IELTS etc., hence applied in Sep. So the July rush is mainly the MI2 asprirants and the Sep ones are MI3.

I told you about the analysis I was doing. Below are some of the findings"

1) 3131 and 0631 (I have primarily concentrated on these 2 NOCs only) envelopes started getting opened only after 1122 CAP was announced. So only from Aug 22nd our CAP started racing ahead. Till then it was very slow moving.
2) Prior to Aug 22nd our appl rcvd per day rate was at 1.25 per day (3131) and 1.11 per day (0631). After Aug 22nd it increased to 5.15 per day (3131) to 4.38 per day (0631).
3) As we know now they are working on July 25th appl, so the last update was for July 21st. So the July rush is nearly over.
4) So what I derived from the above is that even if we take the peak rates i.e. 5.15/ day and number of days backlog as 60 days (21st July to 20th sep) still the application rcvd will only be 492 i.e. (5.15 x 60) + 183

You're right. But he had written that CIC is still working on 7th and 8th July applications. But I thought they are now working on 25th (as NKKD got his CC Charged). Maybe my understanding in wrong. Aplogise, if so.

Yes statistics lie like no man's business....have you read the book "How to lie with Statistics" by Darell Huff. He had written this book in the 50's or so if I am not mistaken. So you see, statistics and lies have a very long standing relationship ;-) I wish too Ovais...that your analysis falls flat...desparately....LOL!

Damascus Visa office is working normally, and applications will be processed regularly..

My address has been appeared again after disappearance for 3 weeks before.
