Moyrzg,

Don't worry.

Give it one more week. Check again next week.

BD payments are assured payments but not as quick as CC payments.

Thnx.

Congratulations. CIC is slowly approaching to apps. which are received on July 6th, 7th and 8th. Good news.

Thanks echoes1978! I think CIO work on a first come first serve basis. However some packages can take longer or shorter times to move forward depending upon the person reading through your file as well as the nature of your case and the qunatity / type of documents you submit.

I am sure we will be hearing of a lot more payment encashments soon.

added, thanks for sharing your details. let us know if there is any update.

i think you're the 2nd applicant in the spreadsheet whose cc/bd has been negotiated congratulations!!!!

Thanks westpoint! I may be one of the few who got their payment encashed but this is just a preliminary stage. From what I have researched I may have to wait upto 3 months before I hear fro CIO again. Will keep posting updates as and when available.

Congrats forcabarca86!!! First lucky one.

I dunno how it is just one person for 1122 from the forum who got the CC encashed. The maximum applicants were from 1122 in the forum. And if Forca's application was received on the 5th of July, that means they have processed applications till 5th or maybe beyond that.

Thanks Viz! From what I have heard it does not strictly work in chronological order. Ofcourse the CIO operates on a first come first serve basis. But if, for example, the agent responsible for your file received a complex case with many documents just before your file, your check might take a little longer. In any case, this flex is maximum of a few days so no need to worry. I am sure that a lot of NOC 1122 applicants will have their payments encashed this week. Good luck!

Congratz , You are in. ( in the queue) .

Asyed, Lins, Yesboss .Please check & update about your processing fee payments . Yours should be done too by now.

Timhortons will have to wait as he paid by BD.

All the best.

Thanks RKC! unfortunately it is a very long wait from now. (can take upto 3 months for CIO to respond after encashing the payment) Moreover, as with many other people who have applied, I am getting anxious about my package and whether it holds as much merit as others. In any case, now we all wait. Good luck!

Dear forum members,

I am sure most of you are anxious about your applications and how long the process will take. I personally am also daunted by future hurdles that may come our way as we attempt to immigrate to Canada (eapecially in the competitive FSW-1 NOC 1122 category).

I believe the best way to reduce our anxiety is to inform ourselves of everything we can possibly learn regarding the immigration process.

I am sure many of you have done a lot of research and found useful material which can shed some light on what we as applicants can expect as our application progresses. I encourage all of you to share useful links or tips / advice from professionals or recent migrants.

I will begin by sharing a link which i found very useful. It is a comprehensive blog by a gentleman who recently got his visa. I am sure many of you have already seen his page but this is for those who have not stumbled upon his blog yet:

get2canada.wordpress.com/

Do check it out. His timelines, tips and advice on how to deal with problems etc. are very useful. He is also a member of this forum so if you are reading this Wayne, thanks for the effort you have put into your blog and good luck with your new life in Canada!

Westpoint,

BD transactions to happen takes minimum 5 days. Then for this to show in bank's records would take another 3-5 days. But I stand to be corrected.

i think you're info is more or less correct if i were to base on it POST JUNE 26 applicants' experiences. thanks for the reply.

dont worry so much, there's only 2 applicants in the spreadsheet who had just had their payment encashed/negotiated, so majority are not encashed yet.
