just my two cents, i agree with Westpoint and explorer976, at some point they may ask pre18th july 2011 applicants, to fill new updated forms.
CIC website is updated, so there is lot of scope for everyone still. cheers ;D

Those of us who have mailed our applications before 18th July are okay.

These forms should be used when applying after 18 July and they will be mandatory after 14th November 2011.

I am guessing that when our cases are in process and we are asked for MR etc, we will be then asked to send updated forms. Just my guess.

But for now we are okay.

Finally CIC updated CAP count statistics today!!
Good news for all who wish to apply this year, so far only 155 applications received by CIC as of 21st July for 29 NOC's.

These two NOC's .. NOC 1122 (52 applications) , NOC 3152 (26 applications) - contributing more than 50% of total applications received.

Just surprised by CAP numbers, 1122 reached just 52, such a low count. I was predicting it will reach 500 by this month end. Its way below compared to last year. with this pace will it take 10 months to reach CAP??!!
Interesting thing is 50% of 1122 members are here from forum. lets share info each other.guys, keep an eye on your CC transactions and post in forum if your card charged!

Thanks for all the reply regarding my proof of funds question. Am I correct to assume that there is no way for them to check your accounts? Remember banks usually do not divulge information about their clients. Only thing we are sending them are certifications, not an authority to look into our accounts. I hope somebody can give their opinion on this.

That's what i thought too, that they cant peek into it. Last week i went to my bank and inquired from them how canadian embassy make inquiry. they told me their bank has an agreement w/ ce that if a certain person has pending application they can make verification and the bank is open to it.

hi guys.

I have a question..my first employment was a job order status..then the next COE is a permanent status..

in my permanent COE status, I have annual compensation, position held, date started, number of hour and company seal and dry seal..

my job order status has no annual compensation..it only has type of contract, detail order, date started
and company seal but no dry seal because they have no available dry seal..

but in my detailed JD, I have included all the annual compensation of job order and permanent status..

do you think they will consider it as lack of details in my job order COE?

or they will still call the company for further evaluation, reference and quierries
regarding my employment?

Thank you!!

what's important is you make a notarized statement/explanation why one of your coe/job order employment has this and the other dont have what one has. still, you have to attach both documents even if they are not the same in content.

it is up to them whether they make further evaluation/background chek or quiry. from what i read, the embassy makes random verifcation/site inspection.

that is why for those intending to apply, you have time to scrutinize your documents before sending it to cio. sometimes in our haste we forget to include somehting or forget some data, too late to hold it back once u've send it...so please review them VERYYY CAREFULYY. ;)

some agencies arent knowledgeable abt CIC procedures, a lot of them are there just for profit, i have been a victim of it not just once....for me the lesson i learned was: read CIC website, keep tab of their updates, read all procedures, carefully examine your documents against their requirements and make a truthful presentation of your qualification by yourself...when u do this, you can discard of your agency, save money and save from headache ::)
