by my understanding, anyone u didnt include on your application cannot have any access to your file, even if you have a file number, you'll need to wait till they contact you or u can mail them beyond specific waiting time. i just checked my application online (post july) with my client ID and was suprised to see application for PR received on july 4th already updated (dont know how since i didnt include my client ID on my applicatn), which shows there are working on every file, u just have to be patient as backlog and due dilligence on each file may cause delay.

Hi fazeme! How did you get a client id? Or better how can you verify your application status? Did you get an email from cic or are you applying for a second time and used an old client id?

international students(which i am)/foreign nationals on work permit etc do have a client ID but didnt included it on my applicatn, i actually forgot, so out of curiosity, i just tried it on cic website and found applicatn4 PR received on july 4th.
now, pondering how i got updated, if it must've been tru the copy of my permit which i incuded, idk but surely everyone'll get a response...the time?....idk.....delay?...yes, jst have to keep fingers crossed. but no harm in trying to contact but call centres might nt really be helpful if u dnt have a case file or smthing!

Thats y CIO is not updating the figures................

Ha! ha! ha! ;D

@Jasraj, thanks :D

My estimation for the next update:
1122 Cap Reached
7371: 0.5
0631: 72

Other opinions are welcomed.

I believe..

CIC is performing the "Eligibilty Check" on all those applications which made the CAP, to determine the final count before they label any NOC as "CAP REACHED".

OR

They are not updating the count, maybe to accept more application of NOC 1122. If they intend to accept more than 500 application for NOC 1122 (OFF BOOK), they will not update any further, unless they think they have enough 1122 application to process for rest of the year.

OR

They may be formulating like below..

Eligible Occupation(by National Occupational Classification [NOC] code) Number of Complete Applications Received*
1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management Cap Reached (as of 15 Aug 2011)
36 (from 16 Aug 2011 onward)

Well!
No one has yet received PER/NER not even of 1st week of July applicants although its been six weeks gone. So CIC is working on completeness check to avoid e-mails inquiring about the status of application as is mentioned by CIC to contact only if more than 6 weeks are gone. So i am hopeful that this week applicants would start receiving PER/NER's.
Lets hope the best for every1.
Regards,

Wat now?? Do we wait for our CCs to be charged, or think that we are not in the CAP?

All the more confused ??? :'(

Shocked :o :o :o

First time it happen that CAP of 3131: is unchanged even after 12 days.

On 10 Aug. it was 39 & today also 39.

Its a good for those who want to apply.

Regards
Mayank

Since only 1122 was updated to cap reached (as expected) and no other NOC was updated, I think it is reasonable to infer that they've been taking care of 1122 alone for the past 7-10 days since this category was quickly approaching the limit. Please make sure to update any news of cc charging since that will greatly help us realize an approximate date for last applications that made it in the cap. Hope all of you out there made it!!!
