Hi everyone
I Credit Card charged on 15/08/2011 for CAD 1250, Thanks to ALLAH ALMIGHTY
Please Update on sheet

ssaansari

Congrats! So if it's 1250 that will be 1 principal applicant x 550 + 1 family member x 550 + 1 family member under 22 Years Old x 150 = 1250

Could you please help us understand, I just scrutinized IM 5620 again and there is an instruction that "this form must accompany all applications for Permanent Residence under the Federal Skilled Worker class. A separate payment form is required for each application." Does that mean that only 1 person per one payment form, which is essentially the IM 5620-1 principal, 1 form, 1 family member, another form?!?!

There is also additional note in the IMEG7000 that says, "note: The review of your application will only start after you return your application with the correct fees."

Could someone please share!

Dear,
It means if you both are applying as separately on your own categories. you both will be principal applicant in your respective NOC so you have to separately submit fees. means one 1250 CAD will go with your application (as principal applicant) and another 1250 CAD will go with your spouse application (as principal applicant). But in your case i think only you are applying as principal applicant not your spouse so you will have to fill only one form of 1250 CAD for your family. Not separate forms.
Hope it solves your issue.
Regrads,

Hi mishika, sanity, nish,

I 'm having a similar dispute with Abhinav. After losing money, a chance of PR last year despite all the hard work for arranging documents because of their lax attitude, now we are fighting to have our money back. It's tough to scoop out your own money from their coffers. Series of email exchanges later with their founder they have agreed to pay us only 50% of the fees they charged . If not acceptable they told us "You can go to court". We are still not done with it & we are insisting that they should at least return us the amount minus whatever cost they incurred. The guys are not ready to budge. >:(
have ur case had been filed by them? have taken service?

dont be afraid. just send them a written letter through a registered post describing about details of your transactions and payments made to them and what service was expected from them in exchange to the fees. also mention in details the poor standard of service given by them and how you have suffered and what loss you have made. doesnt matter if you bluff a bit and exagrate things. Dont forget to ask for refund of the entire fees you have paid.

send it through registered post only. by this they will understand that you have brains and you have guts to fight with them even in consumer court.

but do not show any mercy to these stupid consultants who tries to fool customers who trust them blindly.

Yeah! I think this is a good suggestion. Meanwhile, make sure you do not have any important original documents held up with them. And after you are clear with them, you can just report to the CIC about this agency if you are totally convinced that they messed up with your application.

ya very good point. before taking any step make sure you have all your original documents.

and i feel there is no need to contact cic as 99% of consultants are not registered representatives. they dont fill and send the representative form in the package.

OMG! I didn't know they do this without registration. I suggest that everyone who wants to apply through a consultant should go only to a registered consultant.

St John's is a city in the province of NL (Newfoundland and Labrador). That is where I hope to live when I move to Canada. My application was received and signed for by DOUG since it was sent through DHL. I did not receive an email from CIO. I just noticed on my Credit Card that CIC charged their fee today. Hope this helps clarify your question.

thank you

Yes, but that was last year ."Abhinav Outsourcings Pvt Ltd", Nehru Place, New Delhi, were our representatives.
Despite in one of the contract's annexures (that we signed), it's clearly stated " Where after the signing of this contract of engagement, the case has been filed and the applicants case is not accepted by the Nova Scotia office, the immigration specialist agrees to refund 100% of the consulting fee that has been paid"

Still the founder & the principal immigration consultant at Abhinav is not agreeing for 100% refund.
Instead he wants third party intervention.

Congratz diji :) Good luck for the next step.

I have a friend who had applied and wanted to know how to check the number of applications over the phone, I did not have my laptop with me hence I was not able to tell her the page details. Solution: I created a tinyurl as soon as I got to the system and now I can share it with anyone without remembering the entire path.

Awesome - thanks for sharing.
I rely on my bookmark since I am usually lost to look up details from the CIC website.

we are consumers and we have right to fight if we are not being delivered the service for which we are paying our hard earned money.

consumer courts in india is really good and usually the decisions are made within 3 months time. moreover you can also claim the expense incurred to put up the case in court. and usually the expense incurred to fight a case in consumer court is not more that 5000 rupees.

but more than money it is important to show those fraud consultants that we are not fools and we wont let them go easily.
Thanx nish,

I guess consumers court is going to be our last resort, but you know how we Indians prefer to resolve issues , we always run away from courts & try to solve matters outside.
More than money or anything they should be brought under the hammer.
