And good luck for your Medicals. I received mine on 11-01-12 and i am going on Monday for medicals. And yes you can come back after landing formalities. But seniors say that its better to stay there until you grab your PR card which comes in 6-8 weeks. Good luck

Hi Tkaur81

Congratulations for your MR. Its a great news so enjoy!! Once you are issue PR you are allow to travel in Canada at any province unless you apply for specific province program e.g Quebec. You have one year from the date of your medical to enter in Canada. Once you are in Canada normally within 45 days most of the people receive their PR card. Then you have a freedom to move other country. To keep your permanent residence you need to stay 2 years out of 5 years in Canada. ( The PR card has a validity of five years.) Hope this will help you.

Hey, Thankyou for replying to my post. I am glad I have another year, as need to still save up some more money lol I have spent a bit too much over this xmas period ... Its good to know that I can come back after a while , in case I have any finalities to sort out at home here in the UK...I can't believe the MR came quickly, I really wasn't expecting it so soon lol I'm going tomorrow for it, think the chest xray and some of the tests in total will cost be just under 300 pounds.... and can you please tell me how to update my forum file please? It is a bit confusing...

It seems like LVO is working hard these days! ;D Mostly in the forum which VO is London has had good news after new year! One of the guys in one thread who received his PER on mid november received his MR just this week! Fast barely 2 mos!!

Hopefully the same applies to all of us!Goodluck and Godbless!

I am with the London Visa Office too and I had my PER I think 19th october...and then received the MR 6th january...Its so quick, i wasn't expecting it.....

I wish everyone luck on here on getting that PER and MR soon
